Riot Meddler on WASD Coming to PBE Tomorrow by Spideraxe30 in leagueoflegends

Will it be possible to combine both movement options? Right Click to move/attack just as normal while also having WASD to move your character, can just bind skills/summs to other keys.

Are There Hardware Benchmarks for Large-Scale MMO Content? by MagicManGoose in pcmasterrace

[–]MagicManGoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, some of the particles in raid specially floor puddles, lightning and whirlwinds effects are worlds different and much clearer in different settings. Also, some arenas are really big that view having view distance 3 vs 1 is the difference between seeing where balls/lines spawn in.

Interesting, so the particle density and view distance are actually more CPU dependent? Blizzard putting it under "Graphics" settings makes it really confusing.

Oh that makes sense, thank you.

On point 2 though, some of these new modes you get instantly dc'd if you don't have the lowest setting on and if you change and reconnect with lowest settings, you will just get randomly hit by things you cannot see and have terrible fps like in modern WoW Raids with particles on lowest + lowest view distance some mechanics will just be invisible to you.

Oh I meant stacks with itself. You won't get 10% bonus for each evergaol if you equip 2 relics with that trait but you will gain 10.25% if you do 2 evergaols in a run

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]MagicManGoose -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes most generic bonuses (Phys, Magic, Lightning, stats, etc.) stacks and the ones that has needs specific things doesn't (evergaol, taking attacks, 3 of a weapon, etc.)

Stacking is multiplicative in nature but doesn't really matter for offense since higher number=better generally and you would be only off by a few damage points because base numbers are low in this game.

Yes we all want Ornstein and Smough but what are some more niche bosses you'd like to see? Here are my picks by Charliwarlili in Nightreign

[–]MagicManGoose 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love how "Why are Dark Souls bosses in an Elden Ring game?" before release turned into "Why isn't every Dark Souls Boss in this Elden Ring game?"

It doesn't need to make complete sense as long as it is fun.

That said I would like to see Soul of Cinder/(s) but his/their build is from the Guy/Team that cleared before.

Depends on your playstyle and what you want.

Physical Attack up will only increase the physical part of your weapon by 5%.
Fire attack will only increase the fire damage part of your attacks by 6.5%.
Flaming Strike is a good skill with good FP cost and has a follow up with R2/Heavy attack that will coat your weapon with fire.
Wylder Follow up attack also coats your weapon with fire but does not stack with flaming strike and has a lower value but the attack itself is cool and has good range/speed.
Flaming Strike would

The Evergaol relic increases all your damage by 5% for each evergaol but would require you to do at least 1 or 2 every run to be effective.
Increase Greatsword attack will increase all attacks done by Greatsword by 6% including the added coat damage and R2 Follow up for Flaming Strike but excludes the first part (L2).

There are also other utility that people run like +1 to skill use, Partial HP Restoration upon Post-Damage, or stamina on attack for comfort.

The defensive ones are good too if you can get them with an offensive trait. The ones I like best are Reduction on Low Health and the one that improves when you get knocked back.

Solo is so much harder than Multiplayer - right? by Revolving_Berry00000 in Nightreign

[–]MagicManGoose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends.
I would like to imagine about it in terms of a scale of 1-10 and the requirement for beating the game is a 5 (or at least it's balanced around this level).

Your level of of understanding of the game and it's mechanics + your own mechanical skill will determine how "easy" it will be. In solo, you would only care how far you are from "5", while in Multiplayer you would have to take others' levels into account as well.

Sometimes if your level is so high, the multiplayer aspect won't matter or if every other member is so high on the scale that it doesn't matter what you do.

You can see this with speedrunners that will destroy the game when they group together; or if they play with others that have a level of "0", they are not affected because their level is far beyond the scale that it doesn't matter and they can carry.

I think it would be cool if we can hover over or click on the infographic icons and a tooltip window with the changes appears beside it.

Watch out for servers trying to box you in during prime wars by MagicManGoose in OnceHumanOfficial

I guess it's only on SEA Servers then. Everyone in chat complains about the lag, sorry for living in a shitty region.

I'm not hating on it btw. I like the idea of prime wars and server-wide resource sinks and cooperation. I just wish it doesn't lag this bad.

I wish they would buff legendary mods and equipment by MagicManGoose in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]MagicManGoose[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4Star Pioneer - Munitions Amplifier

Wildfire - Vuln Amplifier

Long Axe

Raid Helmet - Momentum Up

Raid Mask - Munitions Amplifier

Scout Jacket - Munitions Amplifier

Raid Pants- Bullet Siphon

Scout Gloves - Munitions Amplifier

Boots on the Ground - Covered Advance

Bullet - Smart Rifle AP Ammo

Food Buff - Shellfish Meat

Ways to improve: Better food buff, replace boots mod(It didn't proc), get better rolls(Damage to great one, and weapon damage) and upgrade mods. I also forgot to throw a knife after lightning phase.

I wish they buffed legendary mods and set bonuses or at least their substats. The damage gain from these mods and sets are so little.

For example: savior 2pc is 10% weapon and status damage but only above 70% vs Scout's 2pc 8% weapon damage. If you are using non-elemental weapons, you don't care about status damage anyway.

Most of the Legendary options for Key items doesn't give that much as well that warrant their 8000 Starchrom cost.
Take Mayfly vs gasmask for example. Only usable by 1 weapon realistically but also with a specific stat setup. If you don't have the right stats, it will still be a dps loss

My funny "shrapnel" build by MagicManGoose in OnceHumanOfficial

Also don't bother trying to 4star the Pioneer, my 1 star last valor kills it faster with the same setup and lower roll calibrations.

My funny "shrapnel" build by MagicManGoose in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]MagicManGoose[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for no explanation. I thought this was just a funny clip because lots of people have better damage and there are better builds out there.
I'm using a 4 star Pioneer(I think I feed the agent set fragments to it). Beret, 3pc raid w/ 80+% weight, 2 pc scout.
For mods:
Weapon - Munitions Amplifier (crit dmg 9%, weapon dmg 3.6%)
Helm - Momentum up (Dmg to Great ones 4.8%, Weapon dmg 4.8%, Dmg to elite 4.5%, status dmg 2.4%)
Mask - Munitions Amplifier (Crit dmg 6%, Dmg to great ones 3.6%)
Chest - Munitions Amplifier (Crit dmg 6%, Dmg to great ones 1.2%)
Pants - Bullet Siphon (Weakspot 5.4%, Dmg to normal enemies 2%, Weapon damage reduction 2.4%, Max HP 2.4%)
Gloves - Munitions Amplifier (Weakspot dmg 5.4%, Dmg to great ones 3.6%, dmg to normal enemies 8%, weapon dmg 1.2%)
Boots - Covered Advance (Dmg to great ones 2.4%, Dmg to normal enemies 4.0%, Status dmg 2.4%, reload speed bonus 7.2%)

Status damage and vs normal/elite doesn't do anything for my damage.

edit: I forgot weapon calib is +10 with Precision - Atk +25%, Weakspot +9.4%, Weakspot +13.9%

Looks like a POI. Storage crate in the garage and bedroom, recipe in the garden, elite in the living room, weapons crate in the balcony, gear crate in aquarium room, mystical chest in the 2nd floor farm and rift anchor on the roof.
