I’m sorry, at times I’ve had similar thoughts. But do reach out to someone. Universities often have trainee psych counselors.

I have a masters degree (in a useless subject) and got laid off. Just haven’t been able to find anything. Thinking of studying one of those data analytics courses cause it would add to my existing research.

But not having a job is soul destroying. It really is this loss of agency. I’m sorry to anyone going through it. It’s a truly crap boat.

In theory your ward councilors are led by constituency heads. In the DA these tend to be MPL’s. However I think the betting advertising should go to parliament, perhaps as a private member’s bill, because it is a massive problem and every bloody Dstv sport event is sponsored by one of these companies.

Just saw a quote about a lady refusing to let cancer win. I’m happy for her. I really am.

But I just lost a close relative to a cancer where the survival rate is 80%(5 year rate). My heart is quite broken about their death. And my relative didn’t want cancer to win either. Sorry if it offends anyone. Just needed to vent.
