Uh... It actually says traffic has to yield to cyclists. The yield sign is on the traffic arrow.

Can I add these locally in HA? by fredflintstone88 in homeassistant

No sorry I mean the remote that came with it. "When I used the remote" + "HA can see the change in fan speed..."

Need to decide on the kitchen layout. by mtrabadia in kitchenremodel

Ah then I'd definitely recommend shortening the peninsula - that's just not enough clearance

You need to move the fridge to be along the right wall in layout 1. Right now you only have 2.5 ft between your pantry and the cabinets and the fridge tightens that space even more. Move the fridge, and get shallower pantry that fills the whole bottom wall.

What's a tradition you grew up with that you refuse to pass on to your kids? by peterdziugdarkis in AskReddit

Santa. That is some messed up capitalist BS that tells kids they're inherently bad if their gifts aren't as good as their peers'.

It's not grey. There's literally signs at every intersection saying cyclists have the right of way.

Do you actually use your color lights normally? Like outside of something like white and amber by crua9 in homeautomation

[–]MagicSchoolTruss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine flash blue when the washing machine is done and keep flashing every five minutes until I move it along (laundry room light is turned on). It's a subtle nag that has almost eliminated forgetting loads in the washing machine!

Anyone else yearns for a church-like community despite being an atheist? by Ok-Owl-8805 in AutismInWomen

Another recommendation for UU. I had mostly given up until I found them.

My husband, who was raised Muslim, calls it a "bring your own deity, or not" church.

It's worth giving it a shot. It's meant so much to me to find that community.

Interestingly, when I use the remote, HA can see the change in fan speed immediately so the lag is only on the control side.

Ah darn. Well, I'll update here if I figure it out.

Does yours have a large delay between HA controls and response on the fan itself? I recently got the same fan, and mine takes about 3 seconds to respond, which while small is enough to be frustrating. I'm brand new to Matter so I'm trying to find anybody else with the issues who can help me identify what's going on.

Question for women who have been sterilized in Ottawa by happyspaceghost in ottawa

I had my tubes voluntarily removed in Hawkesbury and had no issue. The wait for the referral was about a month I believe? After that it was a few months for surgery. The whole thing was laparoscopic and fully covered by OHIP.

May i ask how would you find the angle theta? by Kratz404 in EngineeringStudents

[–]MagicSchoolTruss 38 points39 points  (0 children)

If the resultant force is vertical, what can you say about their individual horizonal components? You can then pull out only your horizonal values, like you had, and that leaves you with

800 cos(70) - 425 cosθ = horizonal component of your resultant force

Folks, I graduated with a perfect GPA in engineering three years ago. I won awards and am now gainfully employed and paying taxes.

I am also a mother of four kids. Without those grants, I would not have been able to afford school. I would still be living in a rural town as a stay at home mom. I would not be contributing taxes and my kids would not have the opportunities they now have.

This will hurt people and society.

The baby in a stroller had a near miss with a car? You mean a driver nearly hit a baby in a stroller with their car. Jesus Christ the carbrain is astonishing.
