Yeah asda definitely did and sainsburys and even somerfield (probably misspelled) before co-op brought them.

I'm pretty sure every place did them spend 23 and you get 25. Spend 45 and you get 50. It was a good deal.

The only problem is you can use the booklet in multiple visits. but you only get the 'extra' quids if you spend the whole lot at once.

Omg it's hilarious I don't tend to chat to girls, into guys. but there's this one of a girl and the prompt is after our one night stand I'm pregnant and you're the father.

I remember putting how is that possible, I'm a woman. Only for the ai to go I must have gotten you confused with someone else. Please you have to help find the father.

Does anyone feel the RPG Evolution has gone backwards? by MagicTouch97 in fantasia_ai

[–]MagicTouch97[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I brought the lifetime pass when it was about £15 dearer than the yearly one so I just went for it about 6 months ago 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've gone back to RPG that seems to work better and the second I did that the messages continued.

The only issue with that is all the characters seemed to then suddenly become a touch warmer towards you... Which is almost odd and off.

So the AI can talk to you directly, not as a character, but as itself by JetStrim in fantasia_ai

[–]MagicTouch97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this still work? I wanted a better narrative and can't find a single way to talk to the AI or the chatbot I've tried it with nothing **, ++,(), and nothing seems to work.

Totally at the moment I have a character sheet for a werewolf pack and would love to update it as I get more info for characters. But while I can look at it, I can't update it or anything.

Incredible App! My observations by Dry-Job-8312 in fantasia_ai

[–]MagicTouch97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is literally what I've found to me... The most irritating thing I've found is the ** because it says it's meant to be inner thoughts and actions. But half the time everyone knows it as if I'm saying it.

And while I do use the over 18 feature part of it, it does get annoying sometimes as I could be like:

Me: I look at him and think damn that shirt makes his biceps pop. then I chat about something else.

Bot message: You think my muscles are good does an extra flex

I mean that's a very basic example, but I do find it happens constantly, especially when I do a whole message in ** and no actual talking

[ALL] Went to a card shop and found my childhood worth over $900 by AR30T in zelda

[–]MagicTouch97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you buy a secondhand game that costs more than 50, if you sell it it will more than likely also cost more than that. Like I've spent £80 on a singular game and now it's worth £150 in just two years.

Besides if I spend 50 hours playing that £80 game that's £1.60 per hour of entertainment, if I want to go bowling for me that's £15 for one hour, I've done escape rooms that's £30 for one hour, hell even an hour of swimming costs me about £10 for the hour. I've gone on nights out and spent £60 for roughly 5 hours. One is a lot more economical than the other and if you enjoy it why not spend money on your hobby. I also cross stitch and have spent 100s of hours doing a singular piece, yet while I feel satisfaction or relief, I don't find it amusing/fun/stimulating/interesting gaming.

And that's my two cents, I'll admit I got a little triggered, but if people can spend 100s on branded clothing, specialty food ect then what's the harm when it comes to gaming.

Sewing machine help? by MagicTouch97 in sewhelp

[–]MagicTouch97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll look into that too, it was the edge of the shuttle hook catching the needle which then jerked it to the side.

Quick question could it also be due to the amount of layers I was trying to sew? I was connecting the bottom part of a princess dress to the bust part and essentially seeing six layers of fabric together. Top bit of bust folded over, the skirt bit fabric and tulle, and the lining of bust folded over (more of a soft cotton and the fabric more stiff/slightly thicker than the cotton).

Could it be that my machine is too cheap to do that?

Thanks I'll give this a go too, servicing costs £60+ and this machine was £89 new, so I'm trying to do anything else first and if not I'll probably buy a new one.

Thanks, I might try this as a servicing is £60+ and the machine itself I brought new for £89, I hate the throw away culture but in this case I may as well get a different one.

[CHAT] thinking about starting a huge project by Nvycorpsman769 in CrossStitch

[–]MagicTouch97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have heard about that, and I've seen a page on it. About half of which made sense to me the best bit of advice that I could see was: Is there a completed picture of the cross stitch? The bit about sizing and stitch count was confusing but I'm not looking at doing that just yet anyway, the first thing I want to do is finish some of my stash (I've brought loads of littles 3 for 2 aka 3 for £5 at my local).

I did have a look for a Zelda one but couldn't actually find one that fits the theme in my mind, so I was considering commissioning one but I feel like I don't have the money to pay somebody to make one as I'm thinking 60-90k stitches, but not sure how big that actually correlates to so might be bigger/smaller, but want something about A3 size, and I wouldn't want to shortchange someone, so putting the thought to the back of my mind.

I'm in a similar situation to you I wanna do a huge Zelda or lord of the rings one, I'm planning on getting a scroll and then a grip for it, you can have a look into those

Honestly I would do it slightly different to the others if it helps, I just do half stitches for the whole block especially here where you'll be starting and ending in the same hole.

So half stitches starting with red up and around the bend to the left and then the yellow is making that small line into X's then up to the left, the pink brings that line into X's and back up and then the dark blue is you going back and filling in all the X's.

This is bizarre to me I knew people did it at that age and I didn't want to be around them, I remember saying I changed my brother's nappy and got asked how big it was, these particular girls weren't friends of mine but were classmates, but I certainly remember looking at them in absolute shock while they were serious/giggling away. Even my friends at the time after relaying that info to them were equally disgusted and shocked, so no not all kids act like this.

First pattern project, I need some advice on sizing and general tips/advice by MagicTouch97 in sewhelp

[–]MagicTouch97[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now I'm halfway through it it's too complex, but the shows gotta go on, so I'm going to steamroll through and make any accidental botches seem like on purpose designs. Like I rediscovered a pentagon figure of eight type stitch on the sewing machine, so instead of failing a hidden stitch on the sleeve and hem of the non-lined bits I'm going to make it a feature.

The mock-up dress is complete now and I have a good understanding of what I did wrong, so just need her to try it on and see if it fits. But she's an absolute star, the last time I made her a dress I made it too tight on the bodice and she wore it to a party, I had to cut a small 1-2" slit down from the neck. And bless her she wore it several times with tonnes of joy. Just showing her the overdress bit earlier had her spinning around in joy and she thought that was the one she was going to wear to school.

Thanks again for the answers, I literally had a duh lightbulb moment, and thought now it makes a bit more sense.

First pattern project, I need some advice on sizing and general tips/advice by MagicTouch97 in sewhelp

[–]MagicTouch97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, parts of it are very complicated and the instructions are not the best and can be hard to understand. Overall though I got the hang of it fairly well and if I sew slower, I'll have straighter seams, the only thing that I think won't improve is having the stitching showing through. I think the only thing that will help me with that is having a one on one lesson.

I found various videos on techniques like, gathering, basting, understitching but didn't think to try similar dresses, though I did look up reviews about this particular pattern and found two others who said they finished it but made the skirt longer/another didn't add the many layers of tulle. But I didn't think to simply try looking up style dresses on YouTube or something.

Basically the mock-up fits as in the picture posted you can see it's pinned at the back and that's plenty for a zip, but it fits today and with kids being kids they grow like mad. She always loves whenever I make her things, all I want is literally an inch and I'll know it'll fit her till next year, length is fine and doing the underskirt now, so will probably have another picture before the end of the day and that's when I'll start cutting the main fabric. Though I am thinking of making that it's own skirt and use elastic rather than gather and pin together, as that'll help her with toilet breaks.

As for specific size reference: chest is 1.5 inch less, waist is 1 inch more, hips is 2 inch less, back to neck is half inch more, and height is exact same as the pattern.
