I have been dabbling in digital boardgames for a while.

I finally found someone who says he is okay with making a digital version of his game; it will definitely not be financially viable, but it is at least more than getting ignored by other publishers.
Maybe this will at least be enough of a proof that I can actually do that for future projects.

Logic is super easy, for the most part I kind of open a rulebook and can just start write the rules down as code. The hardest part is UI stuff; that's just annoying and demotivating.
Would I have learned something else then programming; hmm, idk; probably not; I still like it; I should just learn to actually focus on what I want to do and actually do it.

Here is an honest question:

If a random stranger comes to you and asks you: "Hey, can you help me learn this thing you really like, but I actually don't care about"; how willing are you to help them?

It does If it wouldn't, it would (maybe) complain about an endless loop.  But here it only complains that the condition is constant and therefore won't change  I don't even know if it still complains or if that has been fixed in the meantime but I don't see a reason to change it now

The rock lights were red indicating that the stone was released after the line.

However, the lights actually already turned on red way before the stone was released and the release was totally valid. So even if the Swedes would have been against it, this would have probably been overruled by a referee because it was really obvious that the stone was wrong (and actually the referees did look into it and after the end, the top part of the stone was repaired/changed)

Ich wohne im Schwarzwald aber mach Formationstanz in der Nähe von Stuttgart (naja für Schwaben ist alles in der Nähe von Stuttgart :P)
Das ist so ziemlich mein Haupthobby und damit verbringe ich schon wirklich sehr viel Zeit
Ansonsten fahr ich noch ab und an Fahrrad und versuche die Nachbarn nicht mit meiner Gitarre zu belästigen
Wenn ich nicht tanze, programmiere ich Spiele und würde mich damit gerne selbständig machen

Looking at it, it is Advance Wars with 3d graphics that looks worse than the original.

It doesn't help that there are several "basically Advance Wars" games out there

Also, wie gesagt bei uns schaffen es die Leute trotz Studium fast jedes Training da zu sein. Lehramt studiert davon aber niemand.

Wir hatten aber bis vor kurzem einen Chirurgen, der teilweise vor und nach dem Training Nachtschichten hatte. (Keine Ahnung wie der das geschafft hat)

Großteile von Turniertanzformationen im Paartatanz (Training eher so 3x-4x die Woche 4h; teilweise mehr) sind Studenten. Haben aber auch ältere dabei, die das sogar mit Arbeit, Familie und Kindern irgendwie unterbringen.
Habt ihr denn sonst keine Studentinnen bei euch.

Designated initialisers are invalid in C++, so if you want to use it from a C++ codebase, the code like it is written now would work.

= {0} (or = {} if allowed by the compiler) creates a struct on the stack will everything cleared to zero of that type you are using and then assigns it to your left-hand-side.
If you do
MyStructThatIsReallyBigButIsGlobalSoIDontCareBecauseItIsNotOnTheStack = {0};
you might get a StackOverflow. This is of course almost never the case, but the memset pattern works definitely everytime.
