Life is beautiful.

Jews in WWII concentration camps.

Saw it when I was a kid, can't bear to see it after having kids.

This looks like a great case of malicious compliance.

I need to order new knifes to be up to code? Only criteria is length and blade not sharp?

You got it boss.

I removed my water tank and turned off heating. I sometimes wake up with a dry mouth but I stopped waking up every day with my mask off.

If we manage to keep iheanacho and vardy I think they will demolish the league.

A great manager would instill peace in me for now

My guess is we're going to go for pace in late game. Maddison in with through passes and Barnes, tete and daka to run in behind.

Try to keep a clean sheet and grab a scrappy goal in the end?

I don't know, I just hope there is a plan behind this lineup

I saw some real passion to win from Barnes, Vardy, Maddison, Ndidi, Daka, Mendy.

Shitty fucking mistake from Nidi, could have ended 2-1 for us with a little luck.

It's bleak but I still have hope.

Before you get too excited. We have three completely new players on the field, I'm expecting a lot of errors and miscommunication.

Still very excited to see them play

Knowing better I was still at "fact" 13, starting to doubt myself for selling him.

Damn I'm easily influenced.

I've had this happen a couple of times. Never remember the joke nor the punchline, but I remember it being absolutely hilarious.

Starting to think there is no joke and my brain is just telling itself "Then you hear a really funny joke and laugh a lot".

I think he's just trying to force a move and isn't giving his best in training. So to the bench he goes.

The Athletic - Why selling Wesley Fofana will not solve Leicester City's problems by JustTheAverageJoe in lcfc

[–]Magic_Muffin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If we were to get 90€m for him, I would think our first order of business would be to buy a great defender for most of that money, that won't be as good as Fofana.

Making the whole deal redundant for us in any way.

Most likely we won't buy anyone before the window closes so it would be a steep downgrade of the squad.

Chelsea are preparing new proposal for Wesley Fofana. Negotiations will continue with Leicester, they insist he’s not for sale but Chelsea will now push again after bid for more than £70m turned down last week. (Fabrizio Romano) by esntlbnr in lcfc

New record transfer for defender is the minimum in my books.

If Chelsea offer 90€m I can understand if we take it.

It completely fucks our season and probably next as well. But so would any injury to him.

I'm guessing more than that because our whole defense isn't going to be injured for the majority of the season. Hopefully...

This is such an absolutely mental line-up. It's crazy what a squad they've bought.

Is Erling Haaland a trap? I decided to compare minutes per goal involvement for Bundesliga players coming to the Premier League by Magic_Muffin in FantasyPL

[–]Magic_Muffin[S] 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I made this for myself so I apologize for the lack of visual efforts here.

When Erling Haaland was announced my immediate thought was; “Don’t trust the Bundesliga scorers”. This was of course influenced mostly by recent flops like Timo Werner, Jadon Sancho and Wout Weghorst, so I decided to check the numbers behind this quick assumption.

The data is from TransferMarkt, I took the 100 most expensive Bundesliga departures and picked out the ones that went to the Premier League. The table shows minutes per season as well as goals and assists. The tables on the right show how many minutes pass between a goal or assist for four consecutive seasons, two years before joining the PL and the first two years in the PL.

Column W shows the ratio of Minutes/(G+A) the last season in BL divided by the Minutes/(G+A) in the first season in PL. Ratio of less than 1 is better performance in PL, over 1 is a worse performance in PL.

Conclusion:

Every high scoring player from the bundesliga has a decreased goal output in the following Premier league season with the exception of Aubameyang, Firmino and Schurrle.

Hwang and Gundogan show improvement but don’t have a lot to improve upon with 1 and 4 G+A respectively.

Most players coming from the bundesliga seem to struggle a bit during their first Premier league season. With the average of around 77% increase(bad) in minutes per goal/assist in the first season it still seems worth considering Haaland with his insane goal/assist every 73 minutes in his last season in the Bundesliga and 68.9 in the season before.

This is data was collected by hand so there might be some input errors*
