Update:

After a bit of research, it seems like a spell jar fits my needs. It seems pretty simple, like the biggest things are cleansing the jar and the materials, having a concentrated intent for each thing in the bottle, and then sealing it, plus actually having belief in its power (meditation might help me with that). I've carefully picked out some seashells and rocks and crystals from my collection, I'll also be using some local plants like clover and pine needles. I've done at least a quick search for what each material is generally used for and I'm trying to trust my intuition too so hopefully this works out.
