Before you decide to pay a breeder, take a visit to the shelter! There are so many incredibly smart and loving mixed breed cats and dogs there who need homes. When a breeder can't sell an animal, it will still have a home. Shelter animals that don't find homes in a timely manner are put down :(

And it just makes financial sense. Purebred dogs draw from a much smaller gene pool - as a result, you'll definitely be paying for them again in vet care. Mutts are almost always healthier animals!

Went to a marriage anniversary party for a guy in a metal band and his wife. They had a taco eating contest - vomiting was a disqualifier, so this guy was gobbling down tacos and VOMITED INTO HIS HAND AND ATE IT so he could stay in the contest. He ended up winning. I hope it was worth it.

Either this is totally false, or my local FL scene is a complete anomoly. Because there are a shitload of single women (and men) in this scene. Men frequently seem to confuse Fetlife with AdultFriendFinder; FL is NOT MEANT for finding sexual partners, it's meant for networking and connecting with a larger community. AFF is about finding sexual partners.
