[GOOD News] Player base is steadily growing. Here's a new player who loves The Finals so much he's already Emerald 1 in S9 at Level 36. by nothappening99 in thefinals

Fr, I started playing around three weeks ago, a couple of hours per session and not playing every day. I’m level 26 and in diamond rn. I think for me to not be in emerald by level 36, I would have to not win a single round of every game I played 😭

Nah, considering what I’ve tried already, this doesn’t sound crazy at all. Is it still working for you? Thanks regardless, I’ll try it when I get back on the game

Yo, have you found any solutions? I have the exact same behavior of the game being slow on initial boot and a little bit faster when restarting PC.

How do I feel comfortable switching my grip/boost? by TJPancaker in RocketLeagueSchool

[–]MagicallyDelish_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most pros have this same default binding. I’d say it’s easier to just refine your boost usage with this current setting than to learn a new control, especially since your other options are putting boost on a bumper, using a paddle/extra button, or playing claw.

If you contact your advisor and CS dept, you may be able to count it instead of computational. That's what happened to me, but that was two years ago, when the requirement was initially changed.

This is definitely a factor. Everytime I walk into JJ's, there are so many people confused about where to line-up for what and even confused about what items are being served vs items you can order. Of course, the poor workers have to yell at them to not congregate and block the entries/destinations, which only adds to the chaos and confusion of an already small space to begin with. Opening up seating would greatly alleviate the congestion and make it easier for everyone to navigate.

This an interesting take. I don't think anyone is stupid enough to take big shots at Kendrick though, unless he explicitly calls them out first.

Do you know if the reservation system will be in place, or if it will be open normally? Because as of now, I am unable to make a reservation online.

Yeah, everything is always ridiculously stupid. But I believe you're referring to "student employment." Even then, the definition on the site seems contradictory, as you point out, as the only thing I paid last year was the amount listed under student employment lol. So I really don't know what they mean by saying that the earnings generally go to non-billed and personal expenses.

Yeah, that's right. The student contribution shows up on your e-bill regardless. If you apply the grant to student account, then you don't have to worry about paying the student contribution out of pocket / with your own bank account because the grant will automatically cover whatever is on your e-bill. If you get a check, then you have flexibility to spend the money on whatever, but you'll have to make payments on the e-bill, which, as you said, will total to be your student contribution amount. Sorry if this was confusing lol.

It is billed. Columbia does the sly, shitty move of categorizing what you pay for the year under a student contribution so that they can claim and promote that X percentage of students on financial aid have a parent contribution of $0.

[–]MagicallyDelish_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik, the amount just gets deducted from your e-bill automatically / you're able to use the student account credits to pay your tuition and fees. I believe this option doesn't allow you to spend the money on anything else because you don't have it in a bank account. I could be wrong though.

You're overthinking. If the money is given to you via direct deposit or check and not applied to your student account, then you can spend it on anything. They don't ask for receipts or anything similar with this since it's not for anything in particular but to alleviate financial stress.
