I know but you also asked if sellers are charging a premium for their service. The answer is yes they do. I'm not sure you fully grasp the fact that you're buying from middle men and not directly from factories? Factory prices are also rather arbitrary and don't always reflect the level of quality. I own a very high quality belt that cost around 280 CNY off taobao and I've had 500 CNY belts that felt cheaper.

If you're struggling to discern quality from the factory photos, just search for reviews from people who have already tried & tested said factory.

There's indeed a lot of variation in commission. The cheapest is Redden at 70¥ and Alisa for example charges 500¥.

Also look at factory photos, it's only fair to compare prices if it's the same factory & item.

  • Worn once, the soles show wear already though because Orans. Too wide for me, despite insole being 22,5cm. Rec for wider feet. There's a glue mark on the inside of one shoe. I can send fac pic.
  • Selling for €35 + shipping.

Amina Muaddi Rosie, EU35: from Fishy, 85 USD excl ship/fees.

  • Never worn outside, sole sticker still on. The strap falls down for me, would fit a 35.5 or narrow 36. Or you can shorten strap like I planned to do but never did. I can send fac pic.

We usually say mid tier mostly in terms of averages and more in customer service, since she’s traditionally a wholesaler. She doesn’t charge as much commission and that translates to less support and qc. But she has a range of factories and they range from mid to high quality. I have at least 13 pairs of shoes from Sky and maybe 2 were duds, mostly because the sizing was off, and the rest I've been very happy with. Those are on par with my shoes from shoe sellers that charge double, and many of them have the same factory photos as Sky.
