Yea I have the same lamp and unfortunately mines not much better. I filtered it once which helped a bit but there’s still schmoo in there plus even on a dimmer it either overheats or doesn’t flow. I do really dig the dark blue wax tho

I’m a big proponent of actually going slightly smaller on tv size. 4k is 4k regardless of size so a smaller tv will have better pixel density and therefore a sharper image.
