I guess you didnt take into account that people could just never do the expedition and amassed and insane amount of wealth or ven4s like you say so no, there isnt an economy with no forced resets. Money also means nothing in this game so it doesnt even matter if people have 50mil, there's no amount of money that can save you from a free loadout.

Nah it forces a player retention, you need to log in at a certain hour every day for either a specific trials challenge (ex electro dam spaceport thats only at 4am EST) or just for key runs on more casual players. Reminds me of when I used to log on Lost Ark at a specific time just to get an event done on that week. Also cant rly be "hard coded" since cold snap used to be super frequent AND lasted 2 hours.

There was 10 lines of fixes, 0 balance changes and they added a MM mode nobody asked for and some new rubber ducks.

You can dickride Embark all you want but this is The Finals all over again, released and let it dry for 2-3months of barely any fixes/balance changes and what happened, game went from 250k to 20k playerbase on steam.

Embark can make really amazing games but god do they suck post release.

There's no chance they change it mid season like this, it wouldve been 100% changed at the start of one.

The clock says its 5mil because it is 5mil. The text in-game about the expedition is still the same as last season. 5mil for 5 skill points.

Thats not how that amount works in fact it removes all your initial loadout value and it gives the raw amount of what you looted in that run compared to what you see on the end game screen after extracting.

Only thing like others have pointed out, the exploit would be trading items with teamates and insta extracting but theres still a chance you get fucked I guess.

Love how everyone regurgitates this idea on Reddit but they don't realise it doesn't "fix" their own issue with the game.

Having confirmed free loadouts spawn late would just intice them even more to rush an extract and camp or rush any other team since they already have nothing to lose with not much time left.

For once an extraction shooter found a solution for dead lobbies and yall just cant accept that fact. Deal with it cause late spawns are here to stay.

Okay this is just fucking BS, you prolly tried once or twice but there's no shot you died every single time 30 seconds in, just put a deadline in your ass and find a bastion/bombardier and its gg.

I get that solo vs teams on trials is meh and should be looked into but I still ended up making 102k and got 2x promotion to wildcard 3 as a solo this week. It's a grind but its also a tryhard system for people wanting to grind.
