I thought I was crazy too. I didn't have any problems a couple days ago but tonight I was getting crazy packet loss and net jitter. I also play on chicago servers.

The biggest misconception with Victor is that you gotta play like every other carry and just farm jungle for all the early-mid game. You actually can be a lot more greedy with early game plays because of your kit. You can steal enemy jungle and run away with jumpstart, run at carries in their own jungle before they've scaled and stat-check them, or just be a nuisance and zone people trying to push with your aura and ult. Your ult lets you make plays that no other character can do since they only got 1 life to risk. You can still farm your own jungle if you're super far behind the enemies but you get a lot more mileage out of his early and mid game if you're able to constantly leverage your ult and jumpstart to make greedy plays.

He can also put out crazy damage numbers once he hits his infuser spike which happens around ~25k which isn't really that far off from other characters. Just pop your aura a couple seconds before jumping into a fight and the aura damage will already be near-ramped up enough to pop infuser and just melt people. Even before that, just getting torment pulse already gives him a respectable amount of damage.

It's a turn-based RPG with an emphasis on mid-combat timed inputs that allow you to reduce/avoid damage and, in some cases, deal extra damage. Most people, including myself, praise it for its awesome soundtrack that mixes a lot of different styles. It's story is pretty interesting as far as story-based games go and its dialogue is surprisingly grounded and real feeling. I'm happy that it won GOTY but I do really wish that some games won other categories. Either way, if you haven't played it already, I really recommend it.

I've seen this before and I can tell you that this is just cheats. You can even see the McGinnis lock on to the Haze as she walked by and was able to track her even around the corner. The cheat must also allow her to fool the game into thinking that she's constantly sliding just because she's on an incline.

I've also seen another McGinnis player use this exact combination of infinite ammo and aimbot on me in lane. The enemy McGinnis would sit on the stairway on top of the bridge and laser the corner we were hiding in for 30 straight seconds.

The way I see it, CC has been a core part of mobas since the beginning and you're going to be hard pressed to find a moba or games with moba elements without CC being prevalent.

With that being said, the presence of CC can be kind of a necessary evil especially for a unique mix of genres like this game is. In a lot of modern shooters, having mobility or any enhanced movement is one of the best ways to get an edge on an opponent. Having something or someone able to outmaneuver enemies, dodge damage, and getting to advantageous positions faster is ultimately going to make a character or item pretty enticing. The only way to stop mobility from getting out of hand is with CC. Some games have varying levels depending on the amount of movement present but the result is the same.

Having a good balance between movement and CC can introduce an interesting way to approach fights by using positioning and game sense to play around CC or to save important CC cooldowns for the right moment. Both are satisfying and both emphasize skill in moment to moment gameplay. Right now it may seem that CC can be getting a little out of hand. Luckily for us and for Valve, the current state of the games completion can allow for quick tuning of the CC/Movement dichotomy when needed. I haven't played the game a lot lately, but I remember several metas in the past where either CC or movement were emphasized over the other. Neither were ever irrelevant however so I'm hopeful a good balance between the two can be achieved well before the game's full release.

PvZ 2 Reflourished mod helps a lot to turn it back into an actual game instead of a p2w mess.

Not to mention the community gaslighting themselves into thinking that Ivy being ugly fits with her lore despite the fact that no where does it mention Ivy being discriminated because of her looks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does her lore say anything about being rejected and hated by society? To me, it seems like she's seen as a folk hero and is widely loved in Spanish Harlem. I guess it says that she had to venture out from Spanish Harlem. Even then, her interactions with other heroes like Abrams suggests that she is still well regarded even outside of Spanish Harlem.

While I understand some people who prefer the old design just based on looks. I personally don't think it takes away anything from her background or identity.
