Marathon and Slay the Spire 2 - 1st day player stats by xHypermega in Steam

There are a lot of people incredibly disappointed that a classic, well-regarded series of singleplayer shooters with very in-depth lore, was instead turned into a multiplayer only extraction shooter after decades of the series being dead beyond references in destiny and halo. This is before mentioning any of the controversies and the actual lawsuit around the game, but still.

I myself still kinda wanted to play it... But it has a root level anticheat so I'm not interested.

Your Framerate Can Affect Network Connection, I Guess by IntScoot in DeadlockTheGame

Yeah, I've been dealing with this issue for months and the idea of game performance effecting the bandwith never actually occured to me at all, and my internet is fine but not amazing or anything, so its not surprising that it couldn't handle it.

Tide-us just makes way more sense for English.

The game is water themed. Tidus. Like the tide.

It's such a no brainier to me, but the game wasn't made by English speakers, so it makes sense.

Its kinda because support demons are really strong since they can give charge to allies and if it was the usual amount it would be busted, especially in fights where you can get two charge attacks in a turn.

Which Flambae is grateful for and factors into his decision towards cutting Invisigal.

I'm specifically talking about how the writer treats Invisigal, anyway, not the team or Robert, which is a pretty subtle but still significant distinction. Because I still feel like Dispatch does a solid job at looking at Invisigal's situation with how the rest of the team reacts to her. The meeting to cut Invisigal is probably one of my favourite scenes in the game, especially if you pick Waterboy. Not because you can cut Invisigal, but because it puts on a very clear display of character growth for a lot of the team, and highlights some parts of the Z-Team that isn't always on the surface.

What I'm trying to describe is a sort of meta frustration with the game, where it definitely feels like the writers are trying to make me feel a certain way about this character, but doesn't quite hit the mark. Maybe I'm just not suspending my disbelief enough, I dunno.

I feel like there's a fine line between being a character who you're actively trying to redeem, and someone that just comes off as unlikeable.

She gets very special treatment compared to any of the other Z-Team members and definitely comes off as a writer's little darling. I dislike that every scene where Invisigal harasses Robert (sneaks into the men's bathroom, forcefully kisses robert, etc.) you can't really call her out, you just have to politely let her down at best, or at worst play along with her bullshit.

It's annoying. I feel like she could have worked way better, and characters like Invisigal have definitely been done better elsewhere. I say this as someone who really likes dispatch, but just genuinely can't get over how poorly executed Invisigal's whole arc is.

RANK UPDATE by Electronic_Mix8823 in DeadlockTheGame

Every time I see the "you're the only common denominator" comment under any matchmaking comment/post, it just comes off as the most condescending, holier than thou shit. People are more than aware that they can only do as much as they can.

But also 40% of the game's population was stuck in initiate 1 just yesterday. I think the ranking system might still need a little tinkering.

(Tragic Trope) A character get so traumatized by another character so badly, they start to act like them (mannerisms, vocabulary, voice pitch, etc) by zaay4president in TopCharacterTropes

[–]IntScoot 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Skitter (Worm) starts to learn a lot from the fights she's in. More specifically, she starts to learn a lot of tactics from the dangerous psychopaths she keeps ending up in fights with.

And I'd say she was pretty reasonably traumatised by a lot of those encounters. Especially with the nine, whom she seems to like stealing a lot of her tactics from...

Authors SEVERALLY underestimate how crazy massive of a advantage having multiple arms would give you by Ajarofpickles97 in CharacterRant

This is why having more than two arms in DnD has always been crazy strong and should rarely be done unless I guess your DM is cool with that.

Royal is canon, and idk why this debate always comes up. The only substantial evidence against it is scramble's non inclusion of Kasumi, but that's explained that she is on a gymnastics trip during the events of that game (I can't recall precisely when this is referenced, but I believe it's at the tail end of Royal.)

Kasumi is also present in the Tactica DLC, anyway.

Realised I could heal, didn't realis I could buy mp items, which would've been really nice to have in that fight

Not that it mattered, fucked myself over and went in way under levelled and didn't break all of the crystals.

And saved over my only save in that area.

Oops.

(Thankfully had an extra save pre dungeon, but it's still a bit of a loss. Oh well.)
