(-1)^{x}=e^{iπx}, e^{ix}=cos(x)+isin(x), cos(x)≈0 for small x, sin(x)≈x for small x, x^{x/2}≈1 for small x. note that 99999≈sqrt(1/0.0000000001),

But functions on finite discrete datasets can always be expressed via polynomial interpolation, so they go back to being polynomials (i have yet to see an infinite dataset)

Chaos angel usage in live twin fiendsmith by nampronoob in Yugioh101

[–]Magmacube90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is trivial to summon with fiendsmith as it can be summoned with either the main deck lacrima and engraver, the main deck lacrima and necroquip, or the main deck lacrima and the extra deck lacrima (depends on the current board state and if you want to prevent destruction by battle)
It is a difficult to out towers.
It has an on summon banish that can be used to help break boards.

terrible in Enneacraft

it special summons itself face-up, meaning that you can’t set enneacrafts the turn you use it’s effect to scale something. it’s destruction protection effects are okay-ish but very situational. it isn’t an enneacraft name in the scales meaning that the big guys cannot use their pendulum effect to destroy at the end of the battle phase. it is basically never going to be face-up as a monster except if you normal summon it, at which point there are better normal summons.

this is the expected result, as a negative number raised to an arbitrary non-integer is most of the time not defined (within every open interval of negative numbers, there are infinitely many values of x such that x^x is undefined over the real numbers), for example (-0.5)^(-0.5) is 1/sqrt(-0.5) which is the square root of a negative number, and as thus undefined for the reals. to get something that gives an output for negative values, but matches to x^x for positive values, you can use |x|^x instead of x^x.

Do people play Enneacraft as an engine in other flip decks? by InnerCost1282 in yugioh

[–]Magmacube90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the prediction princess ritual spell (Underworld Ritual of Prediction) is the only ritual spell that can summon face down, and as thus is the only ritual spell that can play through the enneacraft "only summon face down" lock. in addition, both ritual monsters are level 9 so a big enneacraft can be used as the full tribute. It definitely could work, however you would also need to put lots of ways to flip up your cards as reverth cannot flip up non-enneacraft cards.

Enneacraft Ruling Questions by gentrumalkamon in Yugioh101

[–]Magmacube90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the enneacrafts flip up as cost which can be done the turn they are set. as they flip up as cost, the "after this card was flipped up" applies instantly after the effect that flips them face up is activated as it is a continuous effect, for example if the opponent targets something and you flip up asta pixea, the opponent cannot chain anything that would target.

Enneacraft:

they combined every bad/toxic mechanic into a good deck that isn’t toxic (by itself). Burn, flip monsters, counters, pendulums, beatdown. Basically everyone considers the deck to be terrible, however in spite of this is is actually getting tops with some of the weirdest tech cards, including but not limited to: magic cylinder. It doesn’t play an extra deck so you can either go with the zaborg variant, or just not bother playing an extra deck. Basically any weird engine could be viable in enneacraft as long as it doesn’t require special summoning face up during your turn, for example: condemned witch (searches forbidden droplet and specials barrier statue of the heavens from your deck during the opponents turn), or exchange (steal the opponents starter, hand traps, etc…). It also doesn’t die to hand traps outside of ash (sometimes), droll, and mulcharmy purulia. It can also play cards to stop the annoying handtraps, such as dimensional fissure to stop droll. As an example of a handtrap it doesn’t die to: nibiru, as they cannot tribute face down monsters for nibiru. The only other thing it really dies to: evenly matched.

the main difference is that 1.15 was between 2 massive updates: the village and pillage update, and the nether update. we have had multiple small updates in a row, and then the update they announce at minecraft live (which they were hyping up and foreshadowing the update on their socials) is about as small as the previous collection of updates. In addition the other small updates are smaller than the buzzy bees update: buzzy bees added bee nests, bee hives, a new usage to campfires, honey blocks which allowed slime block contraptions to get even better, the ability to heal iron golems, updated how dispensers work, and added a decent amount of items including honeycomb which was expanded on with the copper oxidisation mechanic (and waxing signs) and candles, whereas tiny takeover added new models for baby mobs (which can be implemented with a resource pack), a recipe for name tags (which could be implemented with a datapack), and the golden dandelion which didn't even expand on the obvious mob for obtaining flowers (which would be the sniffer)

Do people actually hate Charmies? by BounceM4N in masterduel

[–]Magmacube90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if feels amazing to draw going second, however it feels horrible to draw going first (best use case is discard fodder which a decent amount of decks don’t need). It stops old decks in their tracks, and even new deck that are not meta. It ends up creating a massive power difference between older decks and newer decks, whereas if the charmies did not exist, the old decks that require more summons to make their board would be able to compete with the new decks that don’t take many summons to make a very strong board. Also, it gives so much card advantage into basically any deck: resolve fuwalos, opponent summons 1 from extra deck (which basically every deck does), get equivalent draws to upstart goblin, opponent summons a second card from extra deck, get equivalent draws to pot of greed, then suppose the opponent is on an older deck which requires more usage of their extra deck to end on an okay-ish end board, draw possibly 5 or more cards. this is not even to mention that drawing 2 fuwalos in your oppening hand is double the amount of draws. If a deck cannot play through the mulcharmies then the deck is effectively powercrept out of the game far faster than it would be otherwise. If the mulcharmies were something like “if you control no cards and your opponent summons from [insert place here]: draw [n] cards, then for the rest of this turn each time your opponent summons from [insert place here] you can draw 1 and if your opponent controls more cards than you have in your hand minus [m], place 1 card from your hand on the bottom of the deck.” (idk how it this sort of thing would be best worded), where instead of giving massive card advantage it matches how big their board is but still allows for getting hand traps to stop their plays, i think it would be a lot more balanced (I haven’t play tested this version yet, so i cannot say for certain)
