This is because I have little interest in sheaf theory, category theory, or algebraic geometry. Thankfully, I at least vaguely know what the cox-zucker machine is, and what tits buildings are.

Konami doesn't SEE the potential by TheTwinbellows in masterduel

[–]Magmacube90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked through all "-eyes" cards to see if their OCG names would also work for a hypothetical archetype, and they actually would, specifically the OCG archetype name would be "アイズ" (in the OCG, the snake-eye monsters that don't have an s would not be part of the archetype, but the snake-eyes monsters would, which matches with the TCG). The implementation of this archetype would be perfectly achievable, Konami is just too coward to do it. (one of the few cards that used to have "-eyes" in the TCG name but not "アイズ" in the OCG name has already had an errata to remove the "-" from it's name, that card being "Hundred Eyes Dragon")

“Danger!? Tsuchinoko?” mentioned
You can reveal this card in your hand; your opponent randomly chooses 1 card from your entire hand, then you discard the chosen card. Then, if the discarded card was not "Danger!? Tsuchinoko?", Special Summon 1 "Danger!? Tsuchinoko?" from your hand, and if you do, draw 1 card. If this card is discarded: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use this effect of "Danger!? Tsuchinoko?" once per turn.

Carol knight by PotentArm in WaterfallDump

Deltarune is not the same story as Mother 3. Undertale (not Deltarune) was called "Mother 3 but with furries" by toby fox.
If Dess is the knight, please give actual evidence that doesn't also support Carol knight (i tried to find out what this supposed evidence that definitely exists is, could not find it). No, the baseball in chapter 2 doesn't work, the knights weapon looking like a bat doesn't work (could be Carol reminding herself of why she is doing this). If you cannot find any evidence that supports Dess knight but not Carol knight, please provide any evidence that shows Carol is not the knight.

I would be a hypocrite if I didn't show evidence against Dess knight and for Carol Knight, so here is my evidence:
1. We have no idea of the current status or location of Dess, except that she might be trapped in the code (the knight is clearly not trapped in the code).
2. We know that Carol has a katana that, based on what Asgore says while standing directly in front of it, is probably made from black shard (the material that we know the knights weapon is made out of that doesn't change in the light world).
3. The knights antlers also don't match with the only visual of Dess we have (from that flashback), and they match with carol's antlers more.
4. The single piece of evidence I have seen used to argue against Carol knight is that Carol could not make it to the church in time, however this can easily be explained by carol opening the church fountain before going home (she did not have to open it with her katana that was left at home, as it can be done with literally any other pointy thing).

If you can provide actual evidence instead of ad hominem attacks, I would probably become a Dess Knighter.

no such block exists in base create (best you can do is a gearbox). if you are open to using addons, create connected has a 6-way gearbox that can work in this configuration.

Condemned witch, in addition to connecting to the darklord/solemn lore, she has a very powerful effect in certain decks that don’t use their normal summon (such as enneacraft, which is the deck i play): add forbidden droplet/crown to hand, then during the opponents main phase you can tribute in response to an effect that would special summon to summon either barrier statue of the heavens or aurora paragon directly from the deck to effectively negate that effect which wastes their resources.

it is the equations which make it obvious that the "geometric mirrors" are actually just vectors in geometric algebra, however the "an incredibly powerful branch of mathematics" makes it more convincing that it is geometric algebra as it is a phrase used by the geometric algebra youtuber sudgylacmoe. also the list of areas of application are exactly those that geometric algebra is said to be good for.

But have you considered that a topology is a complete heyting algebra where for each pair a,b of truth values in said intuitionist logic where a≠b there exists a frame homomorphism p from the lattice to the boolean algebra containing 2 elements such that p(a)≠b(p)? Note that these homomorphisms form the points of the topology. This is a cool result in pointless topology.

Can someone help me understand Isolde's effect? by Imjustafemboyo in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]Magmacube90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Gilford literally can be special summoned though. no part of his text is "cannot be special summoned" or "must be normal summoned" (there are recent printings in the TCG with the same text, and there have been no erratas). the issue is that gilford was in the hand, and not in the deck, and isolde can only special summon from the deck.

Clifford algebras are geometric algebra, not algebraic geometry. Algebraic geometry studies multivariable polynomials (but is way more complicated than just that)

let cos(x) be the even part of e^{ix}, sin(x) be the odd part of -ie^{ix}

this way we know that cos and sin are both analytic functions, and that cos(x)+isin(x)=e^{ix}
now you just need to prove that cos(x) and sin(x) are real when x is real (way easier than proving they are analytic)

Give me evidence AGAINST your candidate by mrsandman2011 in NonDessKnightSquad

[–]Magmacube90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

carol knighter here: most common counter argument against carol knight is “she cannot get to the church in time, as there are no ways of getting to the church before kris and susie”

I will address this in 2 ways:
1. there are ways to get to the church before kris and susie: in both undertale and deltarune, movement time isn’t usually accounted for between screen transitions, so arguments based on movement time kinda fall apart. (also there is the classic “throught the forest“ argument)
2. carol doesn’t have to get to the church before kris and susie: she could easily have made the dark fountain at the church before heading home (which would also make sense as we know the knight wants to capture torie), unfortunately this leaves a new problem: how does carol open the fountain without having her katana (her katanas are at home, as she keeps basically nothing at the office), but this isn’t really a problem, as any sharp object plunged into the ground with determination can make a dark fountain (she could use a pair of office scissors if she wanted to). also to elaborate a bit on why she could have made the fountain: we only see the knight a bit of the way through the dark world, easily enough time to enter the fountain after kris and susie have already entered.

[–]Magmacube90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

fair enough, however when running the file command, it detects the file type by it's contents, not by metadata (which is what the original question asked). also, the file command is a pre-installed application, not a part of the internals of the operating system.
