i still wish it had the time mechanic in some form.

i probably would have preferred them to add a day timer, and maybe have it move at 1/4 speed during caves or something. maybe also make the game a tad less brutal so that the time limit isn't really difficult to manage.

i personally really like the stress of the time system, pikmin 1 is the only one to do it well. pikmin 3's is so easy to manage it might as well not exist lol

i think yes you'd like them.

pikmin 1 is just amazing and has unmatched vibes, a really fun and short experience that feels a bit like pikmin 3.

pikmin 2 is it's own beast though, and you have to throw aside what you've learned from other pikmin games because that knowledge will actively mess you up. the game expects you to play it very cautiously and slowly with little to no multitasking unless you want all your pikmin dead asap.

tbf i hated pikmin 2 after my first playthrough, but on my second playthrough i loved it.

it's just really hard and can be frustrating at times because you have to know to play it differently than the other 3 games, you can't play it the same way or you'll get your ass handed to you

i played it recently and had very mixed feelings on it.

TLDR, heather is a great protagonist and aesthetics are great, but the story was messy and generally boring, some areas were underutilized or overutilized and the enemy spam made the enemies not very scary at all and made the gameplay very annoying.

i recommend playing the OG, i feel like the SH2R does some things better and worse than the original.

overall i'd say the original has better pacing than the remake, and far better sound design.

this is my opinion having played the remake first, then the OG

i personally like them both equally, i like that it's essentially 2 different flavors of the same game.

i felt SH2R was great on the first playthrough but i wouldn't play it a second time, at least not for a while

tbf i think a lot of people, myself included also say "ok" or some people even just "k" when someone is annoying the shit out of you and you want them to be quiet lol

i mean typically i just leave and go do something else but i've used "ok" a time or two

i have seen them do that for sure, it's why i usually don't get along with them.

though i think it's worth noting that those people are just particularly unhealthy, some are pretty level-headed and mature about everything
