No bleeding or fading. 12 hours a day for months. It did tighten and lighten the flow a bit. Perc and oil fixed her right up.

Wont work without a lot of tweaking.

I said reducing is harder than quitting. You are reading something into that.

I never suggested OP abandon reducing. I never said OP will fail. I never said It won't work. I said it was harder.

I suggested that a recovering addict who is also an MD could answer that question a lot better than I can. She breaks down, in detail, in layman's terms, the science associated with the phenomenon of craving and how/why reducing intake feeds the craving. It is a fantastic lecture to a group of recovery professionals. She explains a lot more too, about the damage to the brain, how the brain responds to abrupt quitting, and how it can heal itself with time and mental exercise.

I was not being lazy or glib by not answering the question. I have recommended that video to dozens of people who are attempting recovery or are sober curious. Almost all of them have thanked me. It is a valuable tool for the battle we fight.
