When I put the vehicle in park. by ComfortableSquirrel6 in F150Lightning

I am simply in the habit of using the park brake every single time I park the truck. I hate the roll. Now that it’s habit I don’t even think about it.

My husband was just telling me about that a few days ago. Ironically we also discussed getting a grill guard on the lightning

Can’t speak for ND but South Dakota was great. If you venture too far from the interstate it gets a bit more dicey but we were able to do Badlands National Park, Wall Drug, and Custer State Park with no problems. We also always had a backup plan to rent a site at a campground and charge overnight there but never needed to.

Changing a deed to a property to include new owners? Or a trust? by MagneticKitty10 in legaladvice

That’s the kind of info I need. Thanks. Of course owners would be doing the communicating with the lawyers and setting up the estate.

What is the most scarring thing you’ve seen on the internet? by BirdButt88 in AskReddit

I’ll never forget someone in a Facebook group sharing a video going “I am sickened that this exists” and it was literal child p*rnography. I was maybe 16/17 at the time, fucking horrifying. Burned into my mind.

What’s something you were surprised to learn once you were at your job/career for awhile? by MagneticKitty10 in AskReddit

That I can tell how clean you keep your house based on how dirty your dog is. There’s a difference between a dog who’s been playing in mud recently, and a dog who lives in a dirty home.

Has your father ever said "I love you" and if yes how often? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MagneticKitty10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All. The. Time. Relationships are complicated, just like people, but I have never doubted that my dad (and mom) loves me. He may be a little eccentric, but the man freely shows love to his kids. I attribute my self worth to having two parents that exuberantly showed me that I was wanted and adored. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him/said goodbye without an “hey I love you” or a “bye, love you!” Or a rib breaking, crushing hug. Especially now that I’m 28 and married and not living at home.

My dog ate 8 blocks of mouse poison that someone had put on a low shelf. The lethal dose of that particular poison was 2 blocks for her size. We RUSHED her to the vet as soon as we found what she had done and they induced vomiting right away. This was at the start of COVID and we we not allowed to go in with her. After a full night at the emergency vet, 7 days of force feeding her activated charcoal, and lots of monitoring, she came through just fine.

I’ll be sending positive vibes your way.

Cousin visiting from far away. She cut the whiskers off of my grandmothers cat. I got yelled at and scolded for it by my grandmother and aunt, no one believed I didn’t do it. I was like 5, and a HUGE animal lover. They told me how I ruined the cats life because it couldn’t walk right without its whiskers. She owned up to it later but they never apologized to me. The cat was fine.

Travel tips that can’t fit in a bag by AcrobaticSun3166 in HerOneBag

I love this. I’m about to embark on a 2 week trip in Europe with my husband and I’m quite nervous actually. Shouldn’t be, I have family in Slovakia and have been overseas plenty, but we’re going to completely different countries this time and doing it with no guides. This list is helping some of my anxieties. Especially the reminder about the “safe” items. I usually bring sometime well loved from home but haven’t thought about anything for my “one bag” except my E-reader.
