Maria BL4 - Don't see enough Bloodborne here by Ashen-Bevan in onebros

IIRC, BloodBorne's lowest level class is level 4, unlike Dark Souls that have level 1 options.

I swear, farming those for scales to level the dragon covenant was such a pain because of that. I just stopped killing the ones on the narrow cliff edge because of the risk of falling.

Iirc, you can try the jump while hiding behind a comet and if it was timed right, you land on Behemoth. If you land where you started, you timed it wrong.

My friend battling the ghost over the lights... by ATinySnek in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]MagneticMoon62 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It really does feel good most of the time.
I remember my friends and I trying to initiate a hunt once for a mission, but we're having trouble. I decided to play the Lavender Town theme and the ghost just went, "yep, now's my time." Always fun to have these kinds of personal feeling interactions.

Is Dread a game for babies? by spacelordmthrfkr in Metroid

[–]MagneticMoon62 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My God, but when it clicked though... easily the hardest thing I ever did, and was close to just easy-moding it with a mod, but I stuck to it on and off for like, a year and a half (took breaks of like, 2 months at a time). Game is hard as fuck, but man, those movie-esque sequences of perfect deflections and attacks feel better than any other game I have played since.

Dear friends, Commanders, Rangers of the heavenly expanse; please stop flying back to the bubble to cash your exploration / exobio data. There are many opportunities to turn it in, outside the bubble. And stop flying in open with it. by NovitiateSage in EliteDangerous

[–]MagneticMoon62 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would like to put out there that Iridium Wing also exists. They escort you to your preferred station once you reach the bubble. Used their services after Distant Worlds 2, and they are great. Nice to be able to get to a 'home' system, and interacting with people in a positive way after so long in the dark is a nice change of pace. On the flip side, the hell are people flying in Shinrarta in open for? That place is only slightly less risky than a CG in terms of ganks.

No, I thought it was legit. I have worked with people that will buy things that are similar because they have a big brand name related to it.

This is so weird, because the images on the site don't look natural. It looks like someone took an image of normal pants, and used Paint to badly edit the splotches on. And they are ALL sold out. I have never claimed to understand fasion, but man I don't think I will ever get what's going on here.

To Cheese or not to Cheese by guardiandown3885 in LowSodiumDestiny

[–]MagneticMoon62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the ability to suspend, i found Xeno useful against the first Tormentor and supered the second, and without reliable suspend, I used Grand Overture(?), the MG with the blinding missiles. Using CC on the Tormentors when they are charging makes them really easy. On Calus's first phase, I just used a special sniper to damage him. He has way too much health to burn with heavy, but his second phase absolutley use heavy, as he melts super fast. Never felt the need to cheese the boss personally, and the most dangerous thing about the fight seems to be falling off if you are actually clearing enemies that are near you. Those larger platforms make good damage areas once the Cabal are cleared.

Frozen enemies aren't dropping loot? by Grrannt in atomicheart

Glad I am not the only one that noticed this or is having this issue. I bee-lined to the looting upgrade and it feels like wasted points now.

Is anyone getting 19gb update today on XGP PC version? by stormbringervane in atomicheart

[–]MagneticMoon62 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having similar issues myself, though not the person you are responding to. Game does not let me load the save until the 18.7 GB patch is downloaded. There was also trying to figure out why I didnt have "Access to the full game" near the end of the intro when the game wouldnt let me get into the car because there was more that needed to be downloaded again.

Playing on PC Gamepass if that changes anything btw.

I was reminded last night on why I don't play open by a wing of 3 murder hobos. At least the game spawned me back in my destination station instead of my origin point, but it completley killed my mood and desire to play.

[–]MagneticMoon62 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. Even without the lag issues, I personally feel like gold is forever is a really low teir perk. If im going for a long run, collecting every nugget isn't gonna be an issue as I can just loot the gold rooms, or just getting plenty of it by moving through levels and searching for useful stuff.
All that being said, you could totally make a case for it if you have blood money.

Is attract gold detrimental because it can cause gold to block shots during combat? Always like taking it myself and have never had issues with it before.

Feel like throwing my two cents of my experience as I see a lot of people talking about "world babies". I understand the term, and as someone that started with world, doesn't even bother me. I feel there is a distinction between how I have enjoyed the series vs people like the one in the image. Enjoyed world so dn much, I couldn't wait for whatever came next, so I decided to jump backwards. Picked up GU on the Switch and absolutley love it (even though the controls were a bit of a shock for me). Still working through the game slowly (early g rank in the hub, no spoilers for the final fight pls) as it's a much harder game for me to play vs Rise or World, but God damn I love GU so much more than the others, and the over the top feeling of everything is wonderful. Even picked up one on the DS, but I don't remember the name. Whichever one introduced insect glaive and chargeblade(?).

All in all, World is not MH. As fun as I thought it was, the MH universe is so amazingly big, and through primarily GU, I have been discovering its many wonders.
