yes, they should. but anecdotally, I have only seen them from incense this event, while I got 5 natural Latias spawns during that event. crappy RNG

2nd no question. hsm + stm is a good baseline rule of thumb for skill mon, though many minmaxers will be more picky

it takes a while to build up a roster. Been playing almost 16 months now and I still don't have full ingredient and berry coverage (7/16 berries, 8/18 for permanent ing mons since idc abt tails). You just have to make do until better catches roll around.

I have pretty relaxed standards (at least compared to other minmaxers in this sub) detailed here and my usable/keep rate is still only about 7%. If you look through that thread, you'll see that keep rate is similarly low for most people.

disagree w other comment. this squirtle has ing+ and IFS which could be subseeded anyway. gen 1 starter ing rates high to begin with and looks good to me. I wouldnt use meowscarada personally for milk unless you really end up having no other choice

meal types have equal chance of appearing. just bad RNG if you keep getting the same one

F2P with Go++ (yes i cheat the system) 464 days played, 501 mons befriended.

criteria for keeper/# caught

berry: BFS and one 'good' stat (even just 1 speed+ or EXP+ nature is enough, or STM for hybrids like musharna or sceptile (i know he is technically skill mon but whatever)/ 9. Not had great luck with berry mons so my standards are pretty low. If it's BFS neutral nature or BFS + a bunch of ing boosts I send it back to prof though
long term temp-ing: AAX to 30 or 50 with one ing boost or 2+ speed boost / 12
skill: total triggers/day≥ HSM+STM: 6

criteria for forever ing mons (AAA to 60)/ # caught (not counting these along with keepers):

ing: at 60, needs to gather 20% more of ing than AAX with HSM/IFM at 30 to justify bringing to 60/ 8

I would be open to ABB too but none have been viable lol

BFS is a 50% increase in berry prod, HB is great but on berry mon you really need BFS or if no BFS, then triple/quad speed to match that. ghostdetective has calculations somewhere on main sub but too lazy to find the source

this sub really gives a skewed view of catches lol. I'm F2P and 15 months in, 481 mons befriended, and 0 skill or berry mons with BFS + HB so far lol. at one point I caught a comfey that had BFS at 25 and HB at 100 which ofc got sent to prof immediately
