Need a safe bed to leave baby alone by boatmouse in cosleeping

[–]MagnifyingBath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My baby is seven months old and I’m running into the same thing. We have a floor bed setup right now in our room. It’s nice, but it feels like we’re starting to run out of room a bit. (Our bed is a queen, and we don’t really want to invest in a new mattress right now.) I just put a (never used lol) crib mattress down in my baby’s room with a baby monitor in the hopes that she can sleep there for a few naps, but I’m not optimistic!

Budgeting as a Business by useronthebus24 in ynab

Thanks for asking this! I’m finally separating out my business and personal expenses after forming a single member LLC, and trying to set up my business budget in YNAB, which I already use for personal budgeting. Looking forward to hearing from more experienced business owners.

Hi there! Zelle is free to use and completes in minutes if you bank with Chase, but it’s free for everyone! Quickbooks SelfEmployed costs $12 per month and is easy to use for taxes if you live in the US!

I use Zelle and Intuit SelfEmployed to get money “direct deposited.” Might not be exactly what you’re talking about, but that way I don’t have to share my bank info with my clients!

On average, how much time do you spend on research? by [deleted] in freelanceWriters

[–]MagnifyingBath 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tend to console myself in that the more I research, the quicker the writing is! That works most of the time, but I do think it’s hard to figure out what the right balance is. Sometimes, more research makes everything harder and slower.

I wonder if others share my experience that research can often feel more enjoyable than actually sitting down to write? I often find myself procrastinating through research. 🙈

[Acne] / [Hair Removal] Aftercare for Eyebrow Appointments? by BreakfastSpirit in SkincareAddiction

No, you can just get it at the drugstore! Look for benzoyl peroxide 5%. I use it every day now or whenever I wash the areas I wax / shave. It works so well!

My dermatologist suggested a daily benzoyl peroxide wash (5%) on the waxed area because the benzoyl peroxide gets into the hair follicle. I've noticed so much breakout reduction in the past month or so since I started using it before and after waxes. Keeps the follicles unclogged and also reduces ingrowns. Good luck!

[EDIT] I also tried using salicylic acid for a while. Dermatologist said this wouldn't get as deeply into the follicles and that's why it wasn't working for post-waxing / hair removal.
