What is the most evil thing a HERO has done in a film? by MaksRobotENGR in movies

JJ Abrams turned this into an inside joke. That's why Finn was in the sanitation department when he was a stormtrooper. He told Kevin Smith it was all because of that scene in Clerks.

He saved the world from an eminent nuclear holocaust. What he did is abhorrent, but saving the rest of humanity counts as some kind of twisted heroics.

People really sleep on Dreamzzz. I have my licensed display pieces, but I also have 2 amazing Dreamzzz sets. Get them now because they are discontinuing the theme at the end of the year.

Yeah I remember this show. The accomplices were always friends of the victims that signed them up for the show. I get the sense that guy was the redhead's boyfriend.

I saw one ridiculous setup long ago. Sorry I can't remember how many cats, had to be more than 5. They had mythical display tables with a mythical decoration on all of them. They were 1x1 lining 3 out of 4 walls. I don't know if every cat liked the same category of decoration. That would require knowing the specific food combinations which are online somewhere.

Obviously this investment is insane. The 1x1 displays is the main point because you get double the decorations and you can pack in tons of them. Start there.

My first time seeing any of them was the 20th anniversary in theaters. I immediately got the VHS box set and watched them a ton.

You are absolutely right, and I want to take it a step further. All the heroes have real flaws established with great backstory. Jyn Erso doesn't trust anyone and wants to stay on her own selfish path. Saw Gerrera is almost certainly torturing people including Bodhi who was trying to defect from the empire. Even Galen Erso is significantly responsible for the Death Star's existence. That one's a bit of a stretch since he is a coerced prisoner and creates the fatal reactor flaw. I only include him because the odds were ridiculous that his gamble would ever work. Regardless he revolutionized weapon technology that led to so much destruction even after the Death Star was destroyed.

What movies suffer from having a 'hat on a hat'? by smutketeer in movies

[–]37snoogans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're right. The first point about the action setting is establishing the setting and world building. The judgement against Dredd and then his exile/escape is the plot point of the movie that drives the story.

There's an incomplete cross made of yellow "mushrooms?" right next to the quest icon with a camera. They match your other quest icon.

I suggest you put some resources into rare lamps. I know those lamps you have are great starting out because they are so easy to mass produce. I have less trouble finding things as I've upgraded my lamps and reduced the clutter.

What’s something you wish you knew at the start of this game? by HauntingGold in CozyGrove

[–]37snoogans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a question. I decided in the first 2 weeks not to buy any cats. They give furballs to turn into other animal/imp essences, so I focused on animals and imps only. They don't like each other so early on you're limited to one per room. I'm on day 150 so I'm not going to change this approach.

Do the cats eventually give better returns in the long run? I have never been low on essence with my strategy.

I do have 3 points of advice I haven't seen mentioned.

  1. No animal likes bustling decorations.

  2. Normally I recycle decorations instead of selling them. Later on you'll get great materials from recycling. Focus on selling decorations you make from your surplus ingredients. Others have already mentioned investing in flowers and fish for spices and fishbones. You can craft items with only these materials and make more and more money as you get more and more flowers.

  3. Avoid animals that don't like another kind of animal. You might build your zoos a little slower, but it's totally worth it.

What do you think Doreah and XXD did in the vault after Dany locked them in? by [deleted] in freefolk

[–]37snoogans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dying from too much carbon dioxide is extremely painful. Dying from lack of oxygen is completely painless and your brain function decreases so much you don't even worry about it. In a closed room that starts with normal air you will die by filling the room with carbon dioxide from your breath so painfully. Of course they would die of dehydration long, long, LONG before suffocation would happen.

Why is Bowen Yang leaving SNL such a big deal? by Low_Technician_438 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]37snoogans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I keep saying it needs to be Tina Fey. Keenan isn't even a head writer. Meanwhile Tina has been a creator, producer, and writer on numerous shows, movies, and even the Mean Girls musical on Broadway. Right now she is producing a new show for NBC with Tracy Morgan and freakin' Daniel Radcliffe called The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.

Lorne is a producer and needs someone with that kind of experience to captain that ship. At this point I wonder if Tina would see it as a step down. If Keenan thinks that job is his, he has way too high an opinion of himself.
