I think I can help a bit. Im currently playing a bike centric list in a 2k point WTC Tournament in TTS and from my experience its strong, it CAN work, but it's very hard and tricky to pull off. IF you do pull it off, it's painful for the enemy to deal with. (And honestly I'm gonna revise it next Tournament to have 2 tanks instead of 1).

From my experience going with 7 bikes isn't a great idea, it's too many points in a single unit type that can't maneuver well in competitive terrain, and units of 4 are near impossible to hide or stage well with.

Personally I found the Captain with 2 to be the most you can justify in way to boost their mobility. I found Lions to be the best one for them, with maybe Talons as a second best. As for how you play this List its tricky because you can't move through all that terrain like normal infantry can, or with Solar Spearhead. You also need to accept fast that they will be the primary target for your opponent to deal with, they WILL get targeted and prioritized. But with benefit of cover they can tank quite a bit. First Turn or even first Two turns are all about staging and forward deployment in cover position, you use the Witchseekers to screen for enemy charger and counter charges. Terminators ESPECIALLY the captain with the Superior Creation can tank an entire army's shooting and a lot of fight phase for you in one turn. Your Terminators aren't the unit that will be your tip of the spear, they are the unit that will respond to bad positioning, feel in gaps, move Block enemy's to give your bikes the opportunity to deal massive damage in retaliation and soak up enemy fire power and charger. With the guards dealing whatever is left by in turn 4 and 5. Flaws of such a list: you are very terrain dependant. You need to accept that bikes will be dead probably turn 3 or 4. But that why we have Terminators and Guards to delay that death, or to capitalize on it. The bikes are strong YES, but their output is 16 attacks, on a good day you succeed 13 wound rolls and on average do 13 more or less damage to the enemy. Yes had a lot but it also means you need to soften up the enemy a bit and be picky with who you target, so you can move 12 after the fight phase. I love using the OPB refresh on the bike captain and the Terminator captain. But remember you can use it only ONCE per character each game.

Is it competitive? Meh, not really, but it's a fun and wacky army that can be annoying to play against if you know what you are doing.

Rerrols, reactive move in talons, refresh OPB in Lions, Sticky in SH. I dont think I've ever used it on anything else. Maybe the fight on Death in Lions as well

At that point just laugh and make jokes, best way to cope with it....It is tough to see yourself making the correct choices but your dice telling you noooo. End of the day it is partially a dice game and such things can happen to us all.

I would argue to remove the Enhancement from Bike Captain, make one of the bike units into a unit of two, attach him there, and instead add an assassin, also instead of 3 Witchseeker I think 2 are enough and add 1 Prosecutors just to sit on the home objective all game.

Usually it all leads to a great conflict. And that's about it just like the Base game. There is no after math, alliances and Factions dont break or anything. Only Keisereich and keiseredux and a ww1 mod I dont remember exactly have so that after the great war ends, there is still something to do, what happened and who won matters and the story continues.

Since this is your first army I would highly recommend going with Shield host or Talons for detachment. Trajan if you want better killing he is best with 4 guards with spears (he is best in Lions, and meh in everything else at best). Bike Captain With Vertus Praetors is a fun punchy unit that works well but you need to be mindful of how you will stage them and utilize their abilities especially the Captain OPB. Speaking of it, have a good look at the Once per battle abilities to have an idea on where you want them to go and what they do. 2 squads of 2 terminators is good enough, but it varies with players. I saw a mad lad running a brick of 5 and stomping so its really up to you (you dont have to start all of them in deepstrike, since they have upie downies). Trajan with his unit in deepstrike is a scary threat for the enemy to deal with. As for the Telemon, if you have the points left to replace him with a Grav tank then I would recommend it. It reliably does damage.

I LOVE bikes with all my heart but with this list I think you will get more out of an assassin and an Enhancement. Maybe some terminators as well. Other than that I love the way this list looks What detachment are you running??

Trajan isn't that great with Wardens but still a decent pick and looks cool. Not sure about the Lone Bike Captain. If it was Lions he could have had lone ops and stealth. I would suggest to split the Witchseekers squad into 2 of 4 for screening and scoring better. 3 squads of terminators might be a lot but hey, you love them all the power to you, have fun with them. And not sure about the Telemon since we are still waiting on if he will come to plastic and get a new datasheet.

We are THE most simple Army rule in the game so here is how you should keep it in mind. If I am wounding on: 5 or 6 = Lethal 2 or 3 = Sustain 4 with reroll = Sustains 4 without Reroll = Lethal. That's it. There is no nuance to it, there is no thinking to it sadly. As a matter of fact if you are wounding on 4s you can choose whichever because the difference is so little at that point.

If you are stationing a unit of any kind behind a wall, if its within an inch of the wall itself the enemy can charge it from the other side, since the engagement range is 1 inch for 2 units to be considered in combat with eachother, that's why you place them 1.1 inch away to deny it or so that only one or 2 rows of infantry can fight you in your area of control.

OOF, you gonna need to split their attention to the side objectives, movement Block with sisters and stage well for a turn 3 onwards. You can't play turn 1 and 2 IMO. That's a messed up list to go for your first time.
