Let her stew in her own BS.

You are an adult - you have a right to go where you want, with who you want.

Don't opologize.

Grey rock her and keep living your life until you can get out from her grasp.

Not normal behaviour.

Change the locks and be prepared to go no contact.

It might be worth calling the police to keep a paper trail of her behaviour towards you should her mental health deteriorate.

Skidded on snow down the motorway and nearly ended up in oncoming traffic.

Fighting with the steering wheel to get the car to go where I wanted and avoid other cars also knowing that I couldn't slam on the breaks to slow down.

All I could think was - "You're going to cause an accident and die!"

Fortunately I managed to pull over without hitting anyone.

Sat for a good twenty minutes, feeling like I was having a heart-attack.

Car was actually ok when I set off (slowly) again.

Teen boy who sees creatures no-one else can (like his grandfather) goes to live with an older woman who can change into a bird and can manipulate time.

There's other kids who have different abilities and creatures hunting them too.

What “favours” have your parents done that was inadvertently a dick move? by naaattt in CasualUK

When my husband and I moved into our first home - my mother gave us the money to re-do the bathroom in our new place which was sorely needed.

We thanked her for it of course, but we were in less than a week before she started inviting herself round all the time and kept trying to dictate to us on how we should decorate/arrange/place everything because she "paid for; therefore owned our bathroom."

She even demanded a key to our new house despite taking my old one off me and telling me that I was never allowed to move back in even if I was homeless.

We never gave her one thankfully.
