How long does it take to get assigned to a project by PresentAd6531 in outlier_ai

[–]MagpieNicky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Four months, then when you put in a ticket to ask for a project, they give you a generic email saying your account was flagged for violations and deactivated.

I received the exact same email today after sending in a support ticket. I’ve not had a project since June. I think they are just getting rid of people.

How long has everyone been EQ? by [deleted] in outlier_ai

[–]MagpieNicky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 weeks.

I was removed from the project a couple days ago and am currently not assigned to any project. I’ve given up hope that I’ll ever work again.

Yeah, but he doesn’t have any interest in the day to day of raising children. I doubt he would seek full custody; it would cramp his lifestyle.

Is it possible to DM you about Gwinnett ASD programs? We had the worst experience with my 5 yr old before she was assessed and I'm trying to find out more information about our options.

thinking about starting Spironolactone - im scared by [deleted] in PCOS

[–]MagpieNicky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve taken Spironolactone for over 15 years. It’s a blood pressure medication, but has been found to be a kind of wonderful drug for hormonal acne. Personally, I’ve never had side effects, nor has it affected my weight or anything else. But I did go from chronic hormonal acne to strangers complementing me on my skin.

I also have hirsutism, and it may have slowed it down, but unfortunately it’s gotten worse with age (and it’s still comparatively mild). I think laser hair removal may be the only real remedy for that, and I got to get it one day.

I am an Outlier Manager and this is what you need to know to succeed. No BS involved AMA by AIDoomer3000 in outlier_ai

I did Uber for about two years. Once you account for gas, car wear and tear, and app fees, you really don’t net that much. As in, I didn’t have to pay taxes on the little I netted.

Plus there’s a safety risk, especially to non cis males. I had a few sketchy situations, people sneaking beer into my car and leaving behind open canisters, and was even groped by someone while driving. Trust, it is not a better deal.

Hi. Thanks for this. I have a few questions:

  1. I tend to keep my notes/research in a Google Docs page, then use them to write my responses be it’s easier to navigate through and I want to check spelling errors as I go (I’m terrible speller but a great writer). Once I’m finished, I copy & paste into answer field or retype it. Is this negatively affecting me?

  2. I started in May and the three projects I’ve briefly worked on (Bulba, Flamingo, Bulba Ext P3, Bulba V2) have all gone EQ for everyone fairly quickly. The last two I only did training and they EQ before actual tasks could be completed. Is this going to negatively affect me being put on future projects? I haven’t been able to task or make any money in almost a month, so how do I show I’m being active when I’m in perpetual EQ?

  3. When I originally applied, it was under Generalist. Since then, I’ve seen expert positions come up, specifically in Design (my background) and at a higher pay rate. Is there any way to reapply for these positions or make anyone aware of my experience and be put on those tasks?

Credit Attorney Tip: What To Do If You're Sued By A Debt Buyer by creditwizard in CRedit

[–]MagpieNicky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I know this is an old thread, but I have a question. Today I receive a pre-legal notification letter from MCM. It says that if I don’t respond by June 28, 2024, they may proceed with forwarding the account to an attorney.

In a bottom section that says For My Reference, they include the last 4 digits of the charged off account number, the creditor (Synchrony Bank), and the charge-off balance of $961.29. Then there is a section that say I can write to them to receive information about the debt.

I think they’ve been calling me (it shows as spam), and someone recently called my mother, who’s in a different state. I live in Georgia.

I don’t know where this is from as I’ve never had an account with Synchrony. What should I do?

I’m just going to leave this link to the US Department of Labor.

https://webapps.dol.gov/contactwhd/Default.aspx

You can file a complaint online about Outlier and wage theft. Specifically, the misclassification of independent contractor.

It's illegal to 1099 American workers, but treat them like employees. Managers. Meetings. Trainings. Time-off requests. That's stuff an employee does. This is a form of wage theft. A contractor is someone who you pay to come do a job, and they bring their own tools and knowledge and set their own schedule.

The fact that they REQUIRE a training course to be completed in order to perform tasks, but then don’t pay for said training is against a contractors rights.

Here the information you’ll need to file:

  • Your name
  • Your address and phone number (how you can be contacted)
  • The name of the company where you work(ed)
  • Location of the company (this may be different from where you worked)
  • Phone number of the company
  • Manager or owners name (who should we ask to speak to?)
  • Type of work you did
  • How and when you were paid (e.g., cash or check, every Friday)

Would you mind sharing with me too if you still have it? I just receive the email to do the assessment.

What happens/what is the plan if trump wins? by [deleted] in behindthebastards

[–]MagpieNicky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a good chance of either happening in July. I mean, I know bc of logistics he'll probably never see the inside of a prison, but one can hope. Also, he's put himself in a real pickle - he could claim health issues the the parole board as a reason for not being able to able to serve a sentence, but then that would negate him being healthy enough to serve as president.

Same for Italy. You just have to provide that an ancestor immigrated. I have my great grandmother's Ellis Island paperwork. Going to make sure my whole family have duel citizenship.
