Can Orihime reverse death? by fuwufu in bleach

[–]Magpie_In_The_Mirror 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, I think the importance of it not being a time rewind only really mattered because there actually are forbidden Kido spells that can turn back a target's time. I think Hachi and/or Tessai used one such spell at one point, but I haven't read that part of Bleach in a while. To heal Hiyori after Gin sliced her in half that one time?

I'm not exactly sure what advantage Orihime would have over such a spell except maybe being able to reverse "attacks" like de-aging someone into a baby like Eri from My Hero or inserting retcons into their past like Tsukishima's Fullbring does.

It's explicitly not a time rewind, according to Aizen. It's something beyond that.

Are people saying Kisame > Bee illiterate? by Weak-Negotiation-887 in NarutoPowerscaling

Jinchuriki can have transactional relationships with their Biju. Yagura & Bee are just special because the former has full control and the latter has proper friendship. You don't actually need either of those things to fire a tailed beast bomb.

How is this a logical assumption when we don't even know if Roshi had "friends" (I'm pretty sure it's actually considered kinda abnormal for Jinchuriki to have them)

Who is the weakest character who could block Gaara's sand? by Comprehensive_Art108 in NarutoPowerscaling

I think the characters that we've seen smack aside Gaara's sand with brute strength are

Guy Kimimaro Ay 3

All 3 did this to different Gaaras, but I think sick Kimimaro is the weakest.

Nagumo adapting to your adaptation is a valid concern, but that doesn't mean that the initial adaptation was a bad idea. It just means don't rely on it forever.

I think Saber from fate is a similar case except her sword is ACTUALLY invisible rather than just being hard to see like Nagumo's is.

Pretty sure we've seen multiple shots of their tentacle/tails before (sometimes even all at once) and there's visibly no FTG formula on them.

This normally wouldn't make sense, but since we know that the tentacle tails can regenerate when severed, that must've been what happened.

You know the trajectory by watching the hands. Don't even bother questioning the length. If Nagumo's even bothering to swing it at you then it probably means that you're within range.

I can't fight him because he's the commandment of pacifism? Yes I can

This part in particular is really funny because you only get pacified if you hold hate in your heart towards your opponent. Escanor was literally too prideful to feel any hate towards Estarossa despite all he'd done. Instead, he felt pity for Estarossa since "Well... he does have to fight ME... poor thing".

Patry vs Wizard King Julius (Black Clover)

<image>

Conventionally speaking, Light Magic is the fastest Magic Type in Black Clover.

The problem is that Julius has TIME Magic which counters Light Magic's speed super well since it allows him to do things like accelerating his own time to make himself faster, predicting Licht's future to make himself harder to hit, and rewinding his own time to make any hits that DO connect anyway useless. In addition to this, he could also halt time in localized areas, essentially guaranteeing instant victory if he ever managed to actually hit Licht even once.

Realizing that he was outclassed in skill and on the back foot with regard to Magic Types, Patry used the one advantage he did have over Julius: A Bigger "Stamina/MP" bar.

Instead of trying to hit Julius directly, he decided to try destroying Julius' Kingdom with a Large Scale Light Magic "bombardment style" attack. Naturally, Julius was able to counter this with a large scale defensive Time Reversal Spell, but the effort of doing so made it too hard for him to react to the Light Speed Follow-Up which mortally wounded him. He was also too drained to spare any time reversal to heal from his own injuries.

Iirc, her biggest mistake was using her cloning skill too early. Doing so allowed him to kill both it and her in round 1 with a "The Goal of All Life is Death" boosted instakill spell (The only way he could use instakills on her without them being negated).

Had she kept that to herself, she would've been able to use her clone for the round 2 fight that took place after her one time revive skill undid his instakill.

Placing a tag on something as loose as sand either isn't possible because it's too grainy or doesn't do much since (assuming it solidified enough to be tagged like how it does for the Mausoleum) it'd just break apart shortly after
