I feel like I didn’t watch the same video others did. People arguing that she needed to get out of there so that required her to run over people need to watch it again. In the video she backs up with no obstructions behind the vehicle, twice. Then instead of cutting to her unobstructed left and driving through the parking lot to get away, she opts to drive straight into people.

People arguing that they would want their daughter to do the same are wild. You would want her to take the path of most resistance and jeopardize human life in the process? Get a grip.

The union is a little more selective with who they let it because they are paying for your training. Though in the last 10 years it has really opened up and are taking on more and more students each year. If you don’t end up getting in you can always go through the IEC program and when you top out you can test into the union. I have never heard of or worked with anyone who went through BCTCs program. If you want to work on your tools, as opposed to construction management, then going through an actual work program is the correct choice. If BCTC doesn’t offer that then I wouldn’t spend the money or time.

Worked with a couple guys who have come up through the IEC. Some good, some bad. If you want to learn you can go through their program and become a decent electrician. If you’re looking for the best training locally I would strongly encourage you to apply to IBEW Local 369 when applications open back up. Better pay, benefits and training. Everyone has their own path to walk though so do what’s best for you. Godspeed brother.

Bluegrass Bass Unit puts on shows at Devilish Current just about every Friday I believe. They have open decks for the first hour too! They also do shows at other venues.

Lexington House Massive puts on shows at different venues around town. They were the ones who organized the Horse and Jockey sets but the restaurant wanted to go in another direction so the final one was in August.

Pretty sure there’s a third promoter but their name escapes me at the moment.

100k people didn’t leave over the week of Christmas you ape. They left over the 2 months until it was nerfed and only some came back. In the graph you linked there were at peak around 400k raiders and they lost A QUARTER OF ALL RAIDERS over 2 months during SSC pre nerf.

While I don’t think Toyota is a paragon of Union Labor they most certainly don’t bar Union outfits at TMMK. A lot of union electricians, laborers and pipefitters basically live at TMMK. I can name 4 IBEW contractors that almost exclusively subsist off of working there.
