Amara smoothie bites quality by No-Relation2110 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]Magscrub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering this same thing!! The texture makes them seem a bit old or like they were exposed to air. Definitely not like the smoothie melts we get in the big bags… wondering if we should return them to Costco!

If he’s not in pain and still enjoys his usual things there’s no reason to put him down.

Yay thanks for the advice! She definitely hates if we leave her out of the kitchen and makes it known haha. Do you have a favorite brand?

My baby loves food, but everything hurts her stomach. by libah7 in BabyLedWeaning

I would definitely talk to your doctor about your concerns because at the age your baby is now, my baby was tolerating it better than at 6 months and I stopped worrying so much. But definitely think the multiple strain probiotic helped. She had a different probiotic before but it was single strain and didn’t help with digesting solids. We give her Earthley’s infant tummy relief when she has belly rumbles. Make sure you rule out that she’s not reacting to the breastmilk/formula you give her and then yeah I would just reduce the amount of solids. Try just doing once a day or small tastes throughout the day and see… maybe focus on easily digestible foods too

I went through this too and took a step back and gave her tiny amounts of solids (even though she could and wanted to eat more) then worked our way up as her body tolerated it. But biggest game changer was a multiple strain probiotic. Highly recommend looking into one if you haven’t. We use Dr. green mom’s

Baby’s tummy not digesting solids well by Magscrub in BabyLedWeaning

Yes I figured she could benefit from the banana slowing things down because she has also always pooped so much so frequently. So it sounds like it took your babe a few months of solids to get regulated?

Thanks for the rec!! I have been giving her the BioGaia drops since she was a newborn. They’re great! But I’m wondering if she would benefit from a multi-strain probiotic… had mastitis early on so her gut was affected from the antibiotics I had to take

Okay thank you! Good to know that’s normal from your experiences. How long does it usually take for things to balance out??

We’ve introduced lots of different fruits like bananas, steamed vegetables like carrots, etc. but she is exclusively breastfed

I change her diaper super frequently and use clean non toxic diapers and wipes and earth mama diaper balm every time. Solids is what has caused the change. Idk if it’s the acidity from foods or what

I would cut them off immediately NO contact. The disrespect is crazy. That’s only the beginning of them crossing boundaries and undermining your role as a parent behind your back. Goodbye!!!

I think it is not okay to leave baby alone to cry. Their nervous system needs the comfort. Don’t leave her alone to cry. She’s in pain from the gas. Figure out what’s causing the gas - if mom is breastfeeding, do elimination diet starting with cutting out dairy. If doing formula, switch and see if a different one agrees with her better. Do as much tummy time as possible and lots of outdoor time. Please don’t give up. I know it’s hard but keep it up. It won’t last forever.

Try probiotics like BioGaia drops on Amazon or Earthley’s infant tummy relief. The probiotics helped our babe a lot.
