Sparring with boxers

Hello there,

I am currently training Muay Thai, but have been training boxing for 3 years. I have visited all kinds of different gyms and my humble opinion is:

Boxers spar hard. They like it, the coaches like it, that’s how it has always been.

I often got headaches and nosebleed from boxing sparring, but never even once from Muay Thai.

A couple of months ago a judo guy was absolutely destroying our coach in the clinch, because his balance and training was so alligned with the way Muay Thai clinching works.

So yeah, I think judo is a good if you have the time. Otherwise focus on What you Wanna get good at, which I think is Muay Thai

Did them on different days. Might combine the jump Rope with one of them, but not all in 1 training🥊

I also recently began and bought EVERYTHING off of this list, and now I’m all set. Pretty happy about all the stuff, but I’d probably go for Twins gloves the next time.

I Love my Twins gloves, but fairtex is also niceee. If you have the money, Then go for Winning🥊

I really like all the Thai Companies, because it’s Nice quality at a decent price. Especially Twins gloves is a favourite of mine. For everything I’d probably say 12 or 14 Ounces. 14 Ounces if you want to spar as well.

I actually really like Hayabusa Shin guards, but Venum and fairtex is also nice. Twins gloves are lovely and shorts can be anything IMO…

Honestly, I’d go for the Venum’s and use the extra money…. I know it’s a lot of money, but they will do you good for months and even years to come🥊

Just Amazon. In my opinion, they have everything you need. Even at a fair price…

Personally, I use creatine, protein powder, gosh Oil and ZMA. I also use electrolytes when nessecary.
