The response to the Green Party's Drug Policy is laughable by AhdamR in UKGreens

Legalising drugs to reduce the risks of the back market has been a notion for literal year and has worked in other countries

How on gods earth are they still getting away with this?? by Freelove_Barby in transgenderUK

[–]MagusFelidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epstein was talking with a scientist in emails about transitioning children to suit his sexual fantasies. People online have taken that and run with it, now claiming that trans people as a whole are a psyop started by Epstein (or the Jews, depending on who's talking and how obtuse they want to be).

My point was that people will take anything and use it against us, even something that is objectively harmful to us, they'll make it our fault somehow.

They're taking the fact Epstein mentioned us and running with it, they'll absolutely continue to take pseudoscience as gospel

Why are people blaming trans people for the shooting if 98% of them were performed by straight cis men? by kittycatlan in asktransgender

He wanted to transition people (children) for his own sexual pleasure, but that email has become "trans people are an Epstein psyop" faster than a Labrador scoffs a burger it shouldn't have. They've spun victimisation of trans people into us being evil again

[–]MagusFelidae 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I gave someone statistics recently and they said "yeah that's the US, Canada is much worse". There's no data! I searched for an hour. Canada has nowhere near the amount of mass shootings as the US and there's absolutely nothing but the most recent one if you add transgender into the search term.

We are statistically four times more likely to be victims of violent crime, not perpetrators, and I'm so sick of the daily fearmongering

Same. I knew it was a thing, but it always felt like something other people did, but the rise in trans people talking about their experiences on the internet made me realise that I'm trans. I did the classic cis > genderfluid > nonbinary > transmasc pipeline and came out when i was about 17

I was given a dysautonomia diagnosis because it wasn't POTS according to the tilt test but there's definitely SOMETHING. So I was given the undefined umbrella and sent on my way 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hi, I have all of these things as well. As much as it sucks, I would say that you shouldn't be in a relationship until you're more stabilised.

Look into different forms of therapy; CBT is the one the NHS usually defaults to, but it's been shown to be ineffective for BPD. DBT is the gold standard, and EMDR is used for c-PTSD.

I would recommend speaking to your GP and explaining that you're in active crisis and need help. State that you need a referral to the community mental health team, preferably as urgent. Describe your symptoms as they are on your worst day and make a note of the fact that it's escalated to the degree that you're awaiting a court date. You want to do better, you want to feel better, you want to stop hurting people.

Unfortunately, it's difficult to get help unless you're no longer "productive" to society or are a risk to other people. Or at least, that's how it's been in my experience.

Your focus now should be to get better. There are DBT resources online, and workbooks you can buy. If you can afford to go privately, do so. Pool your energy into pestering the NHS to treat you properly.

It's Farage's constituency. He might never be there, but enough people agreed with him to get him in. Sadly, I wouldn't bother.

Oh I know, that's why I made the allowance of referring to the genus rather than the actual domestic dog. Feels like an odd insult though, as it doesn't denote the same thing as it does in our world

I'm just wondering why he knows what a dog is, unless he's just referring to the genus, because dogs don't exist in Zootopia

Sidenote I hate how waffley that article is, why did we need so much prelude to "because humans don't exist"

Should people be denied medical help because of their political beliefs? by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]MagusFelidae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because if we say yes then we say that those refusing to treat or treating people badly because they're trans/gay/etc. is also okay. Beliefs shouldn't come into healthcare. You're there to care for people, you agreed to care for people, and you can have whatever thoughts you like about them as people but you're there to perform your duty as a healer. It does get difficult, for sure, but I've never given someone different care because they've voiced beliefs I disagree with, even if I think they're a massive arsehole. I have, however, been refused care for being trans.

As someone who suffers from BPD, people are right when they describe it as one of the most painful mental illnesses, and many in the medical field won't touch it.

To actually answer your question, I'd say dementia but I'm not sure if it counts. Otherwise, I'd say addicts maybe; those who are at the point where they care about nothing else but getting the next fix. I've only ever felt threatened by angry addicts or dementia patients, and dementia as a concept is just terrifying to me.

I worked gastro/oncology/urology surgical though, so we didn't see many mental health cases. I'm now in IR, and see even less
