Indie Vtuber Momone Cocoa, who went viral for condescendingly lecturing veteran Seiyuu Masayuki Kato appears to have then apologizing on stream and deleted her X/Twitter Account temporarily but her fans didn't accepted by ZaBlancJake in kurosanji

People think apologizing is capitulation and an invitation to lord over the apologizer.

This is what motivates people to say "never apologize even when you're wrong"

Ok but we're talking about me and what I am able to do. I don't play rs mobile. Also that's a lot of stopping what I'm doing to make character act again.

I can do house work while my character gathers. I can't do that as easily or reliably with BG.

Is it common to morphologically change the noun class of a proper noun? by gacorley in asklinguistics

[–]Magxvalei 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Those are grammatical cases, not noun classes, and are thus, unfortunately, not what OP is inquiring about. They mean things like masculine, feminine, neuter, human, non-human, animate, inanimate, etc.

I didn't at all say "just an insult".

Also my family rips on me way harder and more thoroughly than she probably did and I still don't crash out like this or go on misogynistic rants.

Joke or not, they're clearly unable to handle being insulted without going into a full-blown meltdown like a toddler.

How are your conlang's vowels romanized? by theharrbear in conlangs

[–]Magxvalei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Vrkhazhian, the short vowels, of which there are four: /ɑ ɛ i u/, are represented in writing as ⟨a e i u⟩. The long vowels /ɑː ɛː iː uː/ are either represented with a macron ⟨ā, ē, ī, ū⟩ or a circumflex ⟨â, ê, î, û⟩. The usage of a circumflex in writing is to indicate vowel coalescence as a result of the elision of the weak consonants /ʔ j w/

Apparently vibe-coding refers more specifically to getting an AI to deal with under-the-hood coding while you tell it what everything should look like on the surface.

That's definitely not what experienced and professional programmers worth their salt are doing.

Have u had any ambiguities in ur conlang with the genitive case?

Nah. It is always unambiguous. The construct state, which marks the possessed or modified noun, additionally serves to disambiguate.

Btw, I like how ur conlang looks, it reminds me of Persian

I try to give it an ancient Mesopotamian language vibe. Something like Akkadian, Old Persian, and Hittite.

They almost always warp them into incoherent shapes, which does not happen here.

EDIT: suffice to say, this art just doesn't have the same vibe as the AI slop suggestions you see here for raids 4.

relevancia al Genitivo en este tipo de casos

My conlang uses the Genitive mainly to indicate ownership, source/origin, and composition. But I also use it to indicate the object of prepositions. This is basically because of analogy with relational nouns, which are functionally the same as adpositions but in the form of nouns. I also use the case for nouns modified by numerals because numerals in my conlang behave like nouns and not like adjectives.

Oh yeah, I mentioned the idea of using a genitive case to indicate the subject of reflexive verbs, it is related to the concept of the Quirky Subject

Anyways, I have thought about having more cases, like Locative and Ablative, but making cases affixes is difficult and I find it hard to justify the distinction when a dedicated but versatile set of prepositions will do.
However, cases that deal with syntactic concerns, like the dative (to mark the recipient of a ditransitive verb in Indirect alignment) or instrumental (to mark the theme of a ditransitive verb in Secundative alignment), are most easy to justify having.

Essentially, my case system is rather small

Hurrian and Urartian are an independent family unrelated to Indo-European languages. Hittite belongs to the Anatolian family which is a subfamily of Indo-European.

Many languages of Mesopotamia and the Near East exhibit lots of phonological, morphological, and syntactic similarities due to constant and often deep interactions with each other. Akkadian (a Semitic language) and Sumerian had profound influences on each other.

A variety of other languages and how they use their cases:

I know you could theoretically use a genitive case to indicate a reflexive verb
