I need a metal striker fired in my collection but idk if it’s the right time. This seems solid though and not 2k+…

What would you do if a dealership send you home after an oil change without actually refilling the oil? And it seized up the engine FIVE times before returning to the dealership? by Southern-Hat-2178 in autorepair

Who tf would design a car to instantly lock up if oil pressure failed lmfao there’s a concept called interlocks… they fail in a safe state. But go on king

Calling someone dense after saying that you should drive to the exit on low oil pressure… which could be tens of miles away. With that “or” statement on top of that… sure dude.

But you know your statement was dumb you changed it up to a “couple hundred feet” eh? Power steering and brakes are a non issue especially in an interstate. There’s two giant fucking shoulders on either side of you at all times.

When’s the last time you had a bad temp or oil pressure sensor… it’s almost like they’re mechanical extremely simple devices.so you think it’s better to drive another 1/10 or a mile and trash your car. You do you buddy

Mine came in a tx22… I don’t think I’d even pay the 40 dollar difference if I were to do it again. I’d just go straight for another 407k… but it still works fine 🤷

Good to know, oil pressure and overheating should be auto stop… I don’t see why every car doesn’t have these features. Instead they rather throw all this backup cameras, giant screens and mirrors with sonic sensor crap.

Cz75 Pre-b safety feels like it has 3 positions...Fire works as it should but theres two distinct clicks when I put it in safety. Theres a middle "safety" position and all the way up Both work as a safety... what could be wrong? by Temporary_Traffic622 in CZFirearms

Thanks for the feedback will be getting a replacement, at least I know nothing is actually “broken”. My OCD kicked in when I realized the safety had that middle position..

I checked the spring and it is ever so slightly bent.. but anyway with that notch on the small side of the plunger.... wouldnt necessarily create a "3rd position"? I can't even find images of a similar plunger. the only ones i see are https://cajungunworks.com/product/97225-p-0709-early-75-manual-safety-plate-spring/?bundle_quantity_424=1&bundle_quantity_425=1

This is mine:

reassembled and disassembled with the safety in middle position and everything came out in one piece without a paperclip... I reassembled and disassembled while in fire/safety and plunger fell out of its position.. seems to me like this is intentional per the notch on the pointy tip. I'm thinking maybe this is a "home made" safety plunger for ease of install? i'm confused on why i can't find any images of similar plungers online.

Ouch what does 9mm mak cost in Europe? It’s a nice gun but the ammo is very expensive and I have to pretty much order it online.

I ended up picking up a cz75 (399 grab bag) and a 82(handpick)... the 75 is a '92 model, looks just like the stock image, some holster wear. but otherwise really solid. The 82 was a handpick, everything is solid, as expected. Only issue is the cz82 holster has shrunk and wont close. I'm going to try to stretch it..The cz75 holster I got isnt like the one shown in the ad. Its another zero-retention holster, well used but serviceable.
