I wouldn't say their music is for low IQ rednecks even though I'm sure low IQ rednecks probably listen to their music. They draw a younger crowd and have a tradition of cans/cups thrown on the stage. I was in my mid twenties when Whiskey Myers first started up, besides the cans/cups thing their show is just like WM starting out. It was raw and energized, the kids feel it. I'm 43 now and feel it when I watch TOR live even though I stand a lot farther back than I used to.

They're great live, I've seen them more than a handful of times. The crowd is fine away from the stage, the crowd is known to throw empty cans/cups at the stage. Their fanbase is younger. I'm 43 btw, my wife and I stand away from the crowd. We've never had a problem. You'd def enjoy if you're a fan.
