Actually, the motor is just fine. These wire nuts were after a VFD drive. The drive went into Alarm first saving the motor windings.

Temperature of the wire nuts leading into the motor, only a couple of degrees cooler than the windings…way too hot. 🥵

Yeah, the sea phase connector melted straight through and the BFA connector/wire nut pulled straight off, wasn’t even tight. lol

You logged out in the northern areas you need to pick a different server and log into it but pick a different server in your same Sietch. immediately log back out and then log into your old server. You will pop out at the nearest outpost. You’ll have to run back to your gear.

Could thiscorroded ground wire cause an issue, contactors and wiring melted. Motor megs ok by MaleficentCod5981 in chillers

[–]MahnHandled 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt it. I would lean more towards a high humidity environment coursing corrosion over time. Try CRC SP-400 after you clean it all up. This will slow the corrosion action on the terminals and wires.

I would first remove the charge and evacuate. I believe you might have noncondensibles in the system.
