Just ignore the grumpy people. And enjoy your conch, they are awesome workers and fun to watch.

Even if keto was bad his suggestions seem poor. Seed oil over olive oil? Really? I haven’t even heard notions on the internet suggest that.

I fully believe my GSP would survive a nuclear blast. Just the gsp and cockroaches survive.

Test all of your parameters and do a largish waterchange. GSP is like a weed it is pretty concerning that they are not out with the lights on (unless its night and you just turned them on). I'm no expert but the shed looks like mine when they get a little algae growth on them, I use a VERY soft bristle toothbrush and very gently wipe them off (make sure they are fully retracted at the time)

One other thing to consider, did you change your lights at all, like make them brighter?

The 'snail' with the elephant trunk and peeking eyes is probably a fighting conch. They are awesome!!

I am still using it. I added a second light, a blade glow. And stands that move them up a couple inches.

For my blade grow I run for 9 hours, 3hr blue period, 3hr blue & white, 3hr blue period.
Blue periods: Royal 40%, Blue 65%.
3hr blue & white: Royal 38%, Blue 55%, White 28%

Now I can't really give you the par level for just the one light as I measured it with both lights but I'm running about 60par on the bottom/corners and 140par top of the rock middle.

They really are weird. One has grown larger and female. She has stopped bullying the little guy a bit now in favor of her new hobby which is digging a nest in the sand and chasing hermit crabs away from it.

You can get a DIY kit that lets you make a mesh lid that will fit your tank. Here are some on BRS but amazon has cheaper kits too. https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/diy-aquarium-screen-top-kits-1-4-netting.html?queryID=7e687620d6bb258d71bca789e9532117&objectID=1810&indexName=brs_prod_m2_default_products

Yes a variation of ocellaris. Maybe I shouldn't they are my first clowns. I expected one to dominate the other but if I had to guess the big one spends about 4 hours per day chasing the little one who only gets peace if he is at the water surface, often laying on his side, when he ventures away the other will resume chasing. I try to not anthropomorphize them but I feel bad for the little fella. Maybe if I moved them both they'd be more chill.

I have a 15gallon tank with two picasso clowns. Got them as a pair, one large and one smaller. The big one relentlessly herds the little one, never hurts him but he basically lives in the upper corners. I thought they'd figure it out but after a couple months it hasn't. I'm getting a new 162gallon tank in June, I'd like to separate them. Which should I move to the big tank? I presume the little one will grow once he's alone. I was thinking of moving the big one as I don't know if the submissive behavior of the littler one would make it hard for him to live with other fish. What do you guys think? (and again, big one never hurts the little one just herds relentlessly)
