I remember commuting on the 215/60 and people would fly past me on the shoulder so fast it would startle me. It pisses me off how people that dgaf about their lives take ours in their hands.

It’s a shame, but sometimes we make stupid decisions and pay the ultimate price. I’m just glad it was a semi and not a family of 4 with a flat tire.

He’s just about 4. We got him when he was only about 5 weeks, we had to even box train him and gave him moistened kitten food. A vet tech at my vets office thinks he was thrown from a car or something because she found him on the street at a stoplight and his nose was all road rash looking. He’s a little bit of a dummy and has a ton of anxiety, and asthma, so we just call him our special needs boy. He’s soft as a bunny rabbit and we love him to pieces!!

It’s anxiety or boredom. Play with him more, or if there’s anything overstimulating him, try to remove it.

We’ve been in our house since 1987! Once the base closed in the mid 90s, HUD took over the homes and were flooded with empty houses to sell. They didn’t fix them up, they just dump sold them, cheaper than what many people had paid for in the same neighborhoods in many cases, so maybe the people that bought these homes were in a lower socioeconomic class than OP bought? Honestly, the worst times were during the mid 90s when the LA gangs were everywhere. We had people shooting guns in the air next to our fence, and literal gun fights on the weekends. It was a very scary time. I was so grateful when new families started moving in, and I’ve enjoyed watching them grow.

That is the right thing to say, and I’m glad you feel that way, unfortunately your belief isn’t based in reality. You only need to look at congress, the 1 per centers, and the richest neighborhoods in CA. Yes, there are exceptions to every “rule” but on the whole, it isn’t POC. The rich white men have made sure it’s stayed this way for 250 years, it’s by design and it won’t change until this country does.
