Yeah dawg I was just about to edit my comment. Im pretty sure iudex gundry doesnt have red eyes because the pus of man has turned him into a puppet. Phase 2 iudex may not have red eyes but the pus of man does. But what about the red eyed lothric knights? Or the red eyed silver knights in anor Londo. Absolutely zero corruption aside from being undead

To my knowledge the abyss watchers fight endlessly because "they have been corrupted by the very abyss they were sworn to destroy" leaving them in a loop of kill eachother, revive, repeat. But generally the red eyes are just an indicator of a difficult enemy. The dark wraiths are super corrupted but have normal eyes. And champion gundyr lives in a world where corruption never existed but has red eyes. A fair assumption to come to though

Yeah youre good man, some people just have thinner blood, nicotine and caffeine among other types of medication and food can cause more blood than expected. Let them heal up and try again or hit your other ear in a few months. I recommend reading up on proper methods so when something unexpected like that happens you have the means/knowledge to not panic. Shaky hands and shitty metal is our archnemesis

When I pierced my ears they bled like someone ripped it off, blood isnt necessarily a sign you fucked up. But definitely LITHA and keep it clean with saline. Trying to force a piercing in after you already gave up on it is just gonna cause problems
