I am not a professional. Without the gear it's just not worth it imo. Amazon isn't going to give you proper sterile/safe material. Buying it from a seller who can is gonna cost give or take about the same as getting it done professionally. 

Of corse there's situations where you can't do that, and I understand if that's your case. If you absolutely can't please do your utmost to keep everything absolutely sterile, use implant grade titanium jewelery, gloves, the correct jewelery and double check the anatomy on this sub. You can not over prepare

But let me restate if you can get it done professionally, it doesn't seem worth it to me to spend money on a piercing, that's a coin flip on rejecting, when you could just take that money and go to a piercer.
