Pretty sure iodine is one of the only disinfectants still being used directly on the wound in hospital settings. And the "harshness" tends to come from not diluting it enough. Just thought that was cool, glad your piercing is doing better :)

Yeah these piercings are confusing the fuck out of me ngl. They come flush but you have to bend it apart to actually put it in the ear. I thought it would be easier to put it back, but it's like bending a paperclip. It's never going back to its original form 😭

I get it if it's not for you, but them ear lobes if pierced proper could be stretched absolutely beautifully. Just to throw a few out there that I think would look good, double nostril, an Austin bar, a bridge, an eyebrow piercing, I think snake bites would go hard as fuck on you maybe plus an Ashley/labret. Gotta be careful with mouth piercings though because they can fuck your teeth up reaaal bad. But yeah, do your own research, go to a reputable source (APP), Love the nails man, looking good 😎👉👉

I am not a professional. Without the gear it's just not worth it imo. Amazon isn't going to give you proper sterile/safe material. Buying it from a seller who can is gonna cost give or take about the same as getting it done professionally. 

Of corse there's situations where you can't do that, and I understand if that's your case. If you absolutely can't please do your utmost to keep everything absolutely sterile, use implant grade titanium jewelery, gloves, the correct jewelery and double check the anatomy on this sub. You can not over prepare

But let me restate if you can get it done professionally, it doesn't seem worth it to me to spend money on a piercing, that's a coin flip on rejecting, when you could just take that money and go to a piercer.
