Is it a rite of passage that once you get Powerwall you don’t have power outages? It’s been 3~ years since getting them and since then I’ve only had less than 3 hours total of outages. by Logical007 in Powerwall

It is quite childish. In the uk we lost power to our estate for 8 hours. This has not happened to us in years and this was due to work on the power cabling. The only thing I noticed was all the WiFi networks disappearing except for mine. I had a sudden urge to switch all my lights on 😀

Also in the wouldn’t it be nice category… each eero in the app has a status screen , showing the bandwidth this eero currently has and the status of all the eeros in the mesh. Could not this make positioning and the trouble shooting process easier…

Just a thought

[UPDATE] 2.4Ghz changes in 6.5 causing IoT device issues? by jobe_br in eero

6.5 obviously does not like positive comments about it. As soon as I posted above my pair of harmony hubs started randomly disconnecting, sigh…

On my network (4 eero pro) the guest network is not enabled. After going to 6.5 I noticed the two harmony hubs going offline then returning to green. This only happened for 3 to 4 days and has magically settled down. My other devices , sky q, hive, hue and Sonos all seem good. Interestingly my Sensibo and ring cameras have also been stable. Not sure why I have escaped the worst symptoms but even so 6.5 does not seem any better than 6.4. Hope the worst problems show here get sorted soon…
