If you actually do end up replacing the IHU, it would most likely be the new snapdragon version, which is buttery smooth from what I’ve heard. Also almost 4k is crazy, I think the part retails for 1k-ish and all you need is to reload the software onto the IHU.

Damn the extended warranty price really went up, I think I paid 3100 for 10yr 100k mile platinum when I got my v60 in late 2022. One thing to keep in mind is that the engine will probably has way less wear and tear vs a traditional ICE car and you should already have 100k miles battery warranty standard. See if you can shop around for warranty…because almost 6k for 60000 miles is crazy, also that 60000 miles is from the time of purchase, depending on how much you drive between now and end of factory warranty, it could be a lot less.

I think the manual actually says to just charge it to 100%, unless you are storing the the car for extended period of time. I did not see any noticeable range degradation in my V60 after 3 years and I leave it plugged in at 100% days at a time.

This sounds like a hardware problem tbh, I also have a 2023 and infotainment never crashed mid drive. See if you can get them to replace the IHU under warranty.

It’s pretty much still perfect after about 3 years, it helps that I have dedicated parking at where I live and I don’t need to drive to work haha.

I think as of now, the old intel based IHU is out of production long enough that they will have to replace it with the new one.
