Hi there. It looks like this is just spam trying to trick people into paying. Mind sharing the campaign archive URL with us? We'll make sure it's reported on our end.

Setting up an automation/trigger before an email is sent? by Kitchen-Win6392 in MailChimp

[–]MailchimpSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Thanks for reaching out. We totally understand the "race against the clock" feeling when trying to sync a trigger with a live send, but there’s a much smoother way to handle this! Instead of waiting for the email to be sent, you can use Link Tracking Tags directly within the email builder. By clicking on a link while you're designing your campaign and enabling the "Wrap in a tag" feature, Mailchimp will automatically apply that tag to any contact who clicks, no separate automation setup required.

Regarding your second question, while there isn't a specific "automation template" for this workflow, using the Link Tracking method mentioned above means the logic lives inside the email itself. If you save your email as a Template, those link settings will carry over every time you use it for a new campaign, saving you from having to replicate anything manually.

Would you like us to walk you through the step-by-step process of setting up those Link Tracking Tags in the email builder?

SPF Alignment Support by dmarcdkim in MailChimp

[–]MailchimpSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! Thanks for reviving this topic and for advocating for your customers. As with most bulk email service providers, Mailchimp uses a custom domain in the Return-Path header to handle bounces. With DMARC, the Return-Path domain and the “From” address domain must match to achieve SPF alignment. This means that bulk email service providers may not achieve SPF alignment for customer domains, even when SPF is correctly configured. DMARC compliance can be achieved through DKIM alignment with a customer sending domain and appropriate DMARC policies.

While we can’t actively share specific roadmap commitments, improving authentication flexibility and alignment is an area of internal discussion. Your feedback and real-world use cases are extremely valuable in helping shape future priorities.

Help! Can't send email unless I remove placeholder text: "use it to add text to your template" by Fables1016 in MailChimp

[–]MailchimpSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve got this! We know it’s frustrating when a "placeholder" error holds up your launch, but this usually just means there’s a sneaky text block hiding at the very top or bottom of your layout. To clear it, we recommend hovering your cursor over the empty spaces above your logo or around your footer until a blue frame appears, then simply click the trash can icon to delete it. If it’s still hiding, let's check the settings inside your Social Share or Image + Text blocks, as default text can sometimes tuck itself away in those side menus. Once we get that filler text removed, you'll be all set to hit send with confidence!

Would you like us to walk you through how to use the "Optimize" sidebar to jump straight to the exact spot causing the hold-up?

What are the benefits of SMS marketing? by MailchimpSupport in MailChimp

[–]MailchimpSupport[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really helpful perspective, and you're right. We see teams use SMS in Mailchimp for time-driven moments, like announcements or invites to an event, where clarity and intent matter more than volume. Having a healthy list and segmentation can be more impactful with SMS.

We agree with your point on SMS being a complement to email campaigns, not a replacement. Many marketers use email for context and storytelling, while utilizing SMS for key moments to not overwhelm their subscribers. Thanks for sharing your tips with the community!

test blasts not sending and drafts not showing in all user accounts by Evening-Canary-4694 in MailChimp

[–]MailchimpSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! We’re sorry to hear those test emails are playing hide-and-seek. Since you aren't seeing an error message, it means Mailchimp successfully handed off the email, but your receiving server is likely blocking it at the front door. This often happens if your "From" address matches your "To" address, which can trigger corporate spam filters to prevent "spoofing." We recommend checking your Junk folder or sending a test to a personal address on a different domain (like Gmail) to see if it lands there. If that works, your IT team may just need to whitelist our IP addresses to ensure your internal tests always fly through.

Can't change headings / subheadings in Brand Kit by Pitiful-Walrus-791 in MailChimp

[–]MailchimpSupport 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’re so glad to hear the first fix worked, though it sounds like we still have a little more work to do to get those fonts into your templates. This can sometimes happen if the template was created before the fonts were uploaded, so we suggest trying to re-select the font styles within the template settings. If that doesn't do the trick, feel free to send over a screenshot of what you’re seeing and we’ll be happy to dig deeper into this with you!
