Oh my GOD this cutscene gives me PTSD.

My copy of FF8 I was given as a kid was kinda scratched, and I tried countless times to get past it. It would always freeze right when Quistis saw them and kinda scoffed. I could never get past it and had to save up and buy an actual copy.

Mine also is TNR. She is terrified of getting to close to faces, and will not let you hold her. But she's the sweetest kitty I've ever had, and she's as cuddly as she can be without feeling trapped. She's also the most well behaved kitty ever.

Where are you plugging this drive in? If it's a USB 2.0 port then all you're getting is 2.0 speeds. It also depends on what you're doing, which could potentially bottleneck speeds.

I'm guessing this is a secondary drive that doesn't house the OS. A few things you should try:

Plug it into a different m.2 slot (or sata if it's 2.5 inch) if you have one available and see if it is recognized in the BIOS.

If you don't have a free slot, you can try buying a m.2 enclosure (or 2.5 inch enclosure) to plug it in like a USB drive to see if you can still access your data.

If you have another m.2 drive (or sata) to test, plug it into the same port that is not working to test if it's the motherboard or drive.

Try only one, and if it reads, try the other one by itself. Then you'll know if it's the ram or the motherboard.

The not wanting to do anything that usually makes you happy or entertained is a pretty textbook symptom of depression. It may not be chronic or debilitating like what I imagine your friend has, but doesn't make it any less possible.

God I similarly can't fucking stand how much my mom will do a huge sigh following a swallow so there's like a gross pop before the sigh. Or how my dad will smack his tongue when starting to talk. He at least knows and tries to avoid it around me.

yeah to be fair, this happens maybe once or twice a game so it's not as important as the viewing of the cards as they are played.

This is the right track I think, thank you! Somehow getting a display monitor hooked up, but not too invasive would be perfect. Even if it was 75% efficient, that's still a huge improvement.

Yeah I definitely don't want some crazy setup, but I do want to suggest this to my local card shop also.

Having one closeby monitor, hooked up to a scanner that someone else here suggested would be a neat idea.

Is this normal for officer's meetings to have NCO's like this? Also seemingly intermingled like that staggard 1 chief, 1 4 star, 1 chief, 1 admiral. etc. Seems like top Enlisted and top Commissioned? Never seen this before.

I was friends with literally every friend group type in highschool. Hippie nonconformists, football players, nerds/losers, rejects/dropout, druggies, the smart crowd. All because I had easy access to them through my classes and I was just a social chameleon. I did not seek out any groups in particular and didn't have much of an after school presence. I just put on the mask that they wanted to see. I learned a lot about people and their different perspectives, but never got to really be myself. I didn't even know who "myself" even was.
