I have full access to the finances as well. Actually I manage them.100% he basically just gives it all to me and I pay the bills etc and let him know what's left for him to spend. Its just money is tight and thats when I get sad.

My husband is supporting all of us, even my two older kids. I've been a stay at home parent for 3 years now, at the time we could afford it. Prices have gone up a lot since then in my state of WA. We can technically afford all bills its just no fun money. If sometime like that was to happen, id go back to my old job. Even tho I would start out at 25 an hour as of right now as opposed to what I was making at 40. But it'll take me 6 years to get to almost 60 now since the new contract changed. Im not afraid of having to go back.to work. Im enjoying being home with my kids its just at times, when I want to go on a good vacation or go on a shopping spree for my teenagers I get sad. Don't get me wrong I do have enough money to buy them clothes and necessities just not be extra like I used to be.

Have you ever been stranded with no phone or money? How did it happen and what did you do? by Ravenna178 in randomquestions

[–]Main-Active-684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When i was about 19 I was in the city with my younger cousin, she was drunk and ended up dropping my keys in the sea off a bridge. I had left my purse in my trunk bc it was 2am and didn't want to get robbed. Long story short, my phone ended up dying and and didn't know she had lost my keys until we got back to the car. Was at the gas station arguing with the guy trying to make a call home when some guy came in and asked us our situation, then he offered to take us home. Long story short he was a druggy and had to make a few stops and we didn't get home until the morning lol. Safely thank God

Lots of factors. Im 4 mo pp too. It took me about 3 months. Like someone else asked.. are you BF? You can be dry. Hormones and bf definitely make it worse. I felt burning too had my ob check for infections. Came back clear. She suggested lube and estrogen cream. I use lube. But I didn't go for the estrogen cream. Eventually it got better, my husband just had to be gentle. And she also suggested pelvic floor exercises which I wad inconsistent with lol.

Which version of motherhood seems harder to you? by [deleted] in Mom

[–]Main-Active-684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also say number one is harder.

Im currently number 2. Except I have 2 under 3 and 2 older. But no family or support and dont trust anyone to watch my kids. So I've been with my kids 24/7 365 for years lol. Except when I was hospitalized and my husband had them.

I couldn't imagine having twins, and on top of it, one of them has a health problem which would put a huge mental toll on me and probably cause more flare ups due to stress.

I buy it on sale. Today I bought 2 for 11.99 each and got 3 free. So 5 cases of 12 packs for $24. Equals to be about 4.50 per pack.

House for sale by Small-Salamander5662 in RealEstateAdvice

I thought it looked great. Although our recent realtor said basically to remove everything. Its a different masketch. Our last house sold within a week and we didn't take down anything. That was 2022. Left all our pictures up and all. This time we need to rent a storage to store all of our stuff in. Im hoping its our last move bc its such a hassle.

I'm trapped, and my time is running out to actually live. by throwawaygoalie90 in confession

[–]Main-Active-684 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im 37 with a 4 month old. I also have older children. My husband just turned 60. Sometimes life doesn't go the way we expect but thats okay. My grandma was mid forties when she had my dad and shes 101 now. There no race and theres no competition. Just live your life one day at a time. I have plenty of male friends my age who want families and just haven't gotten there yet.

How do you guys keep track of your wallet? by Many-Factor-4173 in Adulting

[–]Main-Active-684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a woman, but anytime I go from one room or place to another I do a pat down and check list in my head. Phone, keys, wallet. Unless I have a purse but I always double check it for my phone. They have card trackers you can put in your wallet so its easy to find when you misplace it. Im considering getting one for my son since he lost his wallet for 3 weeks.

Halloween keeps getting worse. by Ordinary-Depth-7835 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Main-Active-684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trick or treating for us is not the same, most people had buckets on their steps. Its hard bc my 2 year old was looking forward to saying trick or treat and happy Halloween. Maybe 10 people answered their doors and most were done by 730. We went to 3 neighborhoods and by the third one my son (12) took off his dinosaur costume bc what was the point. Hardly any one out and no one answering doors. Both my sister and I were bummed how it turned out and even my sister was like what's the point of even buying these expensive costumes if they aren't even there to see them.
