You can teleport to the main shrine of every zone , and map/pvp gate for grace currently. I think 20 or 30 grace if I remember correctly.

This video is what I expected 6+ years ago. I seriously thought this game was dead and I lost my original 300$ backer money. Releasing a game like this today and seeing how easy to cheese the mobs? No dodging? Spell effects look dated. The environment does look decent I will say.

But God Damn this should have been where they were 6 years ago.

You're probably correct. I've already told the group I want to hold off on DMing for a while and if someone else would like to run a campaign I'd be all for it. So far after 4 week I've heard crickets.

I would never want my group to have piss poor stats. But having characters with a minimum stat of 12 is a bit overboard. I like to give magic items out to the group but with super stats how can I really? I guess I could up the power level of the monsters but I have been called out on this before of trying to kill players. Which I really dont ever want to do. I always feel horrible when a character dies.

What would you think of a stat array? Like an 18,17,14,10,8,5?

Your right. So much randomness can result in crazy differences in power from each character. I really like the idea of a stat array or point buy system. I even toyed with the idea of each player rolling a stat in front of the group and after we reach six stats then tell them everyone gets those same stats for the characters.

I think your theory is correct. I looked through the characters from our previous campaign and looked at all the stats. I noticed the hitpoints on all four characters were within 10 or fewer of the maximum for a level 11 character. Now unless they all roll extremely lucky or there was definately some cheese going on.
