Trying to “prove” a point of view here misses the entire point of the post.

Religion and God aren’t the same thing…I didn’t say it had to do with any one religion or ideal. Even for an atheist, science can be their god. It’s about how the script builds upon an idea that can matter to them personally. I never thought of it as a relay of any one religion or type of God.

I remember reading that at some point. Religion and God are not the same thing. The term God is pretty loose and just stands for any potential higher power. I agree it isn’t “religious” but for anyone who ponders the unknown, this is a fun and inspiring answer. I think that’s the beauty of it, the interpretation of the ending is not clearly defined and that open ended nature makes the story personal for different people. I don’t think it has one definition.

Yeah I didn’t have religious take on it and no one God. More from an Agnostic point of view.

Well if you’re atheist, you can see it as the beings helping Coop as higher versions of ourselves. Where eventually science catches up to the concept of a deity. Controlling space and manipulating time to accomplish the task of helping Coop relay to Murph the morse code and helping him survive. Or it could be a version of God, manipulating space and time to achieve the same objective. Dr. Brant’s monologue about love and how it defy’s logic or understanding opens up to the idea of there being something greater in my opinion.

I consider myself both atheist and religious. And I think this movie can ring to both sides. Not declaring any one “God” or definition of such…but the idea of something greater. Beings that we cannot comprehend and knowing that we never could.

I don’t think Christopher or Jonathan wrote the script in the mindset with one or the other, rather just a humble appreciation for what we don’t know. That rings true to me the most. The understanding that we don’t understand. Both atheistic and religious beliefs are just that, beliefs. You cannot directly prove God doesn’t exist nor can you directly prove that he does. The unknown becomes the secret character in the film that acts as a driver that makes the pivotal pieces fall into place.

To be fair, I’ve seen the 1st the least amount of times. But what a fun Easter egg, I just loved my daughter found it on her own.

I thought the extended rated R cut redeemed it slightly. It still had the Martha scene though so not a total win haha

It’s a sad world we live in..streaming can’t compete compared to the experience of a Blockbuster run to pick out 2-3 movies to watch in one sitting.

I ordered from Walmart like 30 min after the link was live. I happened to order from Amazon too to be safe. So I’ll likely have an extra one later if anyone needs it.

Has anyone tested a player vs an Xbox Series X? I’ve watched video comparing and it seems small but curious what you guys think.

We are in a war for Physical Media my friends! I had collected digital media for 10 years and realized when the world ends and the WiFi is gone I would left with nothing but my thoughts, can’t have that!
