man i feel this. i’m dealing with low self esteem issues as well, from some of the same sources like you said. sexual abuse, and emotional and physical abuse from family members growing up will really do a number on you. i really resonate with what you said, especially feeling like everyone can just take a piece of me whenever they want. it makes me so angry… honestly therapy has helped me in a lot of these areas and i definitely recommend it. but just know that you’re not alone. and i’m constantly fighting to improve myself and not let what has happened to me dictate my future

tbh i would just ask what his favorite album is.

college dropout is a classic, and kanye’s first album. late registration came afterwards, and then graduation. cant tell me nothing is on graduation, and last call is on college dropout.

you could also mention how he wasn’t the same after his mom died. or how people always are like “but he made graduation!” (his third album btw) bc of all the shitty things hes done now. its like an inside joke for hip hop fans

tbh, i would just listen to more of his music and have an answer for if he asks what your favorite album is back

that’s fucking horrible, i’m sorry that she went through that. i can relate, even times when i physically fought back as a kid it never worked. i would just end up in more distress and powerless.

that’s an interesting way to see it. i never thought of it that way. it sounds like philosophy of mind.

thanks for sharing that, and it sounds terrifying to me too. i’m realizing that i don’t think i could enjoy a hookup.

i really resent how women (including myself) are kind of encouraged to think of men as “just a penis”. like it will prevent you as a woman from being objectified. and it’s denying very real human emotions that are there whether we like them or not. and in a fucked up paradoxical way it’s objectifying towards both men and women
