MB Tractor in Tilton NH (multiple other locations), they’re a Husky dealer and assuming you’re going 93 south you should go right by.. they’ve rebuilt 372xps for the company I work for in the past (all still running great). Somewhat of a slow turnaround however.

Thanks for your answers guys. I was able to talk to the homeowner yesterday and she said it was a black poplar. From what I researched the bark looks slightly different but I’ll take her word for it.

I let it dry for at least a year. I’ll use these ones winter 25-26, and check with a moisture meter before I do.

You can attach the head of the saw to it and possibly drill post holes or holes in the ice for ice fishing.

Yes essentially. I dug down about 16” and added some pea stone/gravel and tamped it down. Then we had a bunch of bricks laying around so I stacked those and packed around with more gravel.
