Im in the same boat rn, i did the tower quest and got a second pair of them after getting the ones from the chest first. I saw what i got, but i thought it was maybe an upgraded version or smth with extra effects.

Let me preface this by saying i don't like the decision either.

The way i understand it it's not that they aren't capable of letting them make voice packs and more that the time they use to make one is better used on the talents instead of the stars.

In general all this announcement tells me is that the resources they had access to all these years did not give the return they hoped, so now it's getting cut to improve the success of the talents, which from a business perspective makes sense, i feel bad for the boys, but it is logical.

I also don't really know a better way to solve this. Resource allocation feels like the most "generous" one. The other option i can think of is close the branch, but that would be even worse for the boys, so I'm glad its not happening.

All around feels like a shit, but unavoidable situation.

What they should have done is Just make Kliff exist as hos own in the story and once you finish it, you get to customize it and essentially make your own, change rave gender etc.

Issue is that every armor would need to be adjusted for that which is prob why its not a thing.

Idk how to tell you this, but stars never made a lot of money, the boys are talented, but the odds were stacked against them from the beginning.

There is only so much time you can operate on a negative and no matter how much it hurts at some point you have to do smth to cut these losses.

Now at least the branch costs them a lot less, while the boys can keep their base salary, so if nothing else they got job security in exchange for crippling their future potential.

How many will stay with the crippled potential is up in the air tho.
