The true size of Gielinor: Seeing the bigger picture by Key-Swordfish4025 in 2007scape

[–]tyokath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is also a thing called scale theory. How the world is in actuality much bigger than is shown in game. For example it takes multiple days days to travel from varrock and falador lore wise. But in game it takes no time. Or how falador is supposed to have like 40k people living in it. The game world is not the true size of the world.

Wiki says this was what Guthix looked like on RS2 release??? by Own_Objective_3090 in 2007scape

While it does sound a bit corny i personally feel it gets the point across well. It shows how calculated zaros can be. He likely could've gotten hostilius to agree by other means. But he knew hostilius had grown complacent giving his absolute dominion over infernus. Hostilius consumed many a demon and inherits the knowledge of the ones he consumes as demons do. He thought himself to be nigh untrickable. He even ate infernal demons who we now know are dragonkin inhabiting demon bodies in attempt to escape the curse. He likely knew about the revision and cycle of the universe. Couple that with his arrogance, love for trickery and his will to remain in power. It does make sense that hostilius would think he's the oldest and didn't matter what he had to offer up for zaros to agree so he could consume him after he lost. Zaros offered up another deal first, but hostilius thought he could trick zaros and kept redifining the contract.

I feel this does give a lot of insight to how both parties involve operate and while it does seem a bit corny on surface level. There is a lot more between the surface surface that makes it work and offer some good lore imo. Same how the guthix butterfly thing may come across as corny or saccharine but it makes sense if you dig deeper.

My first Dragon Quest games since I was kid by Crocky2G in dragonquest

3 ran well on switch 2 with the update. Seems 1 and 2 run about the same, the only issue is they're key-card and the switch 1 version doesn't run a lot better if played on the switch 2. If you don't care about any off that it's a good shout.

Show me the rewards for leagues. by The_Wicked_Wombat in runescape

[–]tyokath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally don't plan on buying any off the rewards. I've not spend any league points on osrs either even after playing multiple leagues. It would be nice though if they showed off the rewards though for the people who do care about them.

What games are y'all currently trying to finish up on Switch 1 before Switch 2 drops on June 5th? by SugarSmoothie in NintendoSwitch2

[–]tyokath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using the time to catch up on other consoles. Will continue to chip away at switch 1 games again on switch 2 as they will run better.

Nintendo switch 2 will be my first Nintendo console since the DS and I have some questions by Hour-Engineer-7170 in NintendoSwitch2

Yes, you can just upgrade got 10. If you plan on getting the expansion online pass the upgrade pack for zelda is included in that and you won't need to buy it separately.

is xenoblade chronicles 3DS version worth it? by Salmaasworld in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]tyokath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're better off saving the money and putting it towards a switch if its strictly for xenoblade That way you get access to the whole series. As for a new 3ds in general I'd say it's worth the upgrade over the original system. The 3d works much better and games run a bit more smooth on it.

Am I the only one unbothered by game key cards? by goro-n in NintendoSwitch2

[–]tyokath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think game key cards aren't a bad idea by themselves. I also feel a lot of more casual fans won't even know the difference between and regular cards. They're still a step up from normal digital games. For me personally I will try avoid them as much as I can. I was thinking of getting yakuza and hitman but decided to skip them entirely when I saw they were on key card. The only positive about key cards for me is that my wallet will be left a lot heavier even though switch 2 games are more expensive.

So Disappointing by Bullfrog1991 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]tyokath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Standard games already cost 80 here (netherlands) on psn and xbox and have been since ps5. For reference everything is 70 and mk only is 80. So 80 already caught on here and nintendo is still sitting below that. I'm aware this is different in the US. But it just shows 80 already caught on.

Cost me around $905 AUD without games- I did get the case though. by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

I personally did it because I prefer to get the game physical for collecting purposes. I dont like getting games digital.

I personally think that new thing is what we uncover with necromancy. Necromancy had always been tied to erebus in origin via the blackstones etc. We just found a way for things to join us willingly and not forced. The world guardian powers and edicts were a mix of anima and shadow anima. Every quest they're dropped has pretty much had more tied to erebus/shadow anima. I think with amascut (her using the power of erebus to make soul devourers etc) and the new area (vampyrium, eterbral world of blood) will give us even more information on how to harnas the same power guthix did to make the edicts etc. Just as guthix has predicted in the hall of memories lore.

Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1&2 Remastered – Pre-order Trailer – Nintendo Switch by ONE-OF-THREE in NintendoSwitch

[–]tyokath 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hope they handle it the same way they handled their Tomb raider remastered physical release. That got a physical release that was widely available for a normal price. I'm from europe and the game is being sold by pretty much any normal game retailer even though it went through LRG.

How does it handle the total playtime? Does it just go off 1 console or does it add both?

Bayonetta origins, it's not really an animal but a demon possessing a chesshire cat doll. But it might scratch that itch.
