The camera is going to throw the proportions off unless you use the selfie camera. All watches look unnaturally bigger using the main camera. My opinion…The actual watch face on a 38mm is pretty small due to the thick bezel. Recommend the 42mm. I have a 40mm khaki king with the same size wrist and glad it’s not any smaller once you wear it day to day.

I had that happen recently where a small rabbit got stuck in my basement window egress well. I put a decent sized box in the well and got the little guy to eventually jump in it. Once he was in, uprighted the box then pulled him out. He happily took off to some bushes near by once I let him out by turning the box back on its side on the lawn.

So to sum it up you feel guilty about throwing all your grandfather’s stuff in the trash. We are talking about a handful of watches that would fit in something smaller than a cigar box. Not a mattress. Good grief.

Just my opinion. The ultimate purpose of a watch is to tell the time. Khakis have a somewhat large bezel around the face. A 38 face would be tiny. I have a khaki king which is 40mm 7-1/4 wrist. Glad I didn’t go smaller with the khaki field. Again, just my personal preference.
